Updated August 19th, 2009
Well, Travels of Northrend finally ended.
Narrator:
- With the scourge leader dead, the armies of the scourge quickly fell apart, leaderless and uncontrolled. Some joined the forsaken, others joining the Ebon Blade which still stands today. Much of the scourge though were destroyed though. Each of our heroes followed a new path in their lives.
Dralas and Nathadan's souls reside within the heavens, having lost their lives in the final assault against Icecrown Citadel.
Valinaria had gone to Northshire, there she now lives with Senra and Nathadan's son. They continue to live their now, Valinaria following the path of a paladin and also always practicing as a ranger. The three have lived within the Alliance grounds peacefully ever since the uniting of the Alliance and Horde.
Aelnon and Torph disappeared into the Dream, no one from the mortal world seeing them again. Though whispers of their names come from dragons, no one has heard of them again since.
Trogodor remained as an ambassador, continuing his never ending journey around the worlds to always bring light and guidance to those who needed it.
Base returned to his village, with the war with the scourge over, now finding a new meaning in his life: To keep his new family happy.
Mal'dan had disappeared from Icecrown Citadel, being one of the few powerful liches left in the world. He now resides in the remnants of what remains of the Eastern Plaguelands, there always experimenting and hoping that someday he may once again rise in power.
With the New Alliance formed under the former command of Dralas, the tensions between the former Alliance and Horde seemingly disappeared for years, though some old hatreds still there because of all the rogue factions that still try to stir trouble within the New Alliance.
The tales of these heroes were carried from generation to generation, statues of the heroes built within the Valley of Heroes, inscriptions of their deeds carved in each statue at the base. Eventually books of each hero were written, about their known lives and interview with those who had met them. Eventually, a tale about the downfall of the Lich King was written by an author, summarizing all the tales into one book so all could truly remember what had happened. The book was titled, as
Travels of Northrend.
If anyone needs something changed, please, let me know.
---------------------------
First post of when the RP began.
I'll start:
Character: Dralas
Location: Valiance Keep docks
Description of Character: Dralas is a human warrior that is roughly 6 feet tall. He has brown hair that hangs past his ears and has a clean shave. Dralas is a highly trained warrior and also specializes in using explosives in combat. Dralas is usually patient but can have a short temper at times. Dralas prefers a sword and shield combination to fight. Dralas also has a scar from his temple to his cheek. Not severe but you will notice it.
-As Dralas begun to walk off the boat and onto the docks in Northrend, he felt a wave of wind come down on him and chill him to the bone.
I should have worn some more clothes
he though to himself.
As Dralas walked into the main part of the keep, he noticed a line of men lining up to begin their work as a soldier. As Dralas walked by the desk the clerk looked up and said "Your name?"
Dralas was a bit shocked at first thought that he made it clear that he was passing by, but apparently he came across the wrong way.
"I'm sorry, there's a mis-understanding here, I'm just traveling to Dalaran and not joining the expedition." Dralas said back.
"Not anymore, anyone who sets foot on these docks are soldiers now of the exepedtion, we need all the help we can get so we began drafting."
Just as Dralas was going to speak a plague bomb had hit the keep and destroyed the top of the inn.
Dralas looked around to see scourge beginning to attack the keep in large forces.
I have some timing...

Character: William Morec

- The Lord Death Knight, William Morec, knelt before the glorious vissage of the Lich King. With one clean motion the Dark Lord of the Dead pulled his runeblade, Frostmourne, from out of its sheath.
- "Morec," the Lich King said in his voice-that-was-two, "You contiue to serve me faithfully, and for that I reward you. Arise, and accept the blessing of the Scourge."
- Morec stood up feeling a new, greater power rush through his veins. "It is an honor, my king."
- "You next task," the Lich King continued, "is do eliminate all that dare challenge my power, the might of the Scourge, and death itself."
- "As you command, great one," Morec bowed, and then left the throne room.

Character: Cyrie
Location: Warsong Hold
Description of Character: A fledgling priestess of Silvermoon, Cyrie has been developing her powers of healing whilst adventuring on behalf of the horde. Slightly naïve and a strong believer in the Light, Cyrie will always honour the Horde, as they protected her people when the Alliance abandoned Quel'Thalas. Recently, she has been sent to Warsong Hold in Northrend to aid the Horde assualt on the continent.
Cyrie came off the Zeppelin and landed in what appeared to be a dimly lit keep. She was greeted by a friendly orc, and was given a room by the innkeeper there.
"Hmm, The Light won't mind if I have a small glass of wine..."
She thought to herself.
"A glass of your finest red wine, please." She asked the Bartender, before noticing a Troll Hunter sat with a mug of ale.
((OOC - Hope you don't mind about the length, didn't want to Godmode or anything:D))

((Yeah, I'll join MorecofRivendare, and be scourge. Two people have already chosen Horde, and I don't want to make it unbalanced.))
Character: Rhaja Redspear
Location: Corp'rethar, en route to Icecrown Citadel
Rhaja Redspear is a loyal death knight of the Lich King. Even when Morgraine and those loyal to him defected from the Lich King, Rhaja remained a loyal servant and traveled to the Icecrown glacier with others loyal to the Scourge. The troll stands about eight feet tall and looks like your average, burly
forest troll
, for the exception of a large gash that runs the length of his chest down to his waist (which was the cause of his death). But due to his ferocity in combat, he was raised as a death knight to serve the Scourge.
I can't believe Lord Morgraine would defect from the Lich King. Its pointless, his quest will fail. The Lich King is all powerful and will end his coup.
Rhaja thought to himself as he walked through the massive Corp'rethar gate en route to the citadel. It was a long walk across the Court of Bones, but it didn't bother Rhaja. Undeath seemed to eliminate the fatigue he felt during life.
The Court of Bones seemed busier than usual. Word had it that Thrall and Wrynn had began to send forces to the Lich King's doorstep and was going to assist Morgraine in the elimination of his master.
The long walk ended as he finally reached the entranceway of the citadel. Rhaja noticed a man briskly walking out. The man had a large sword strapped to his back, and was staring at his flexed fist. He smirked to himself and looked up to meet the troll's gaze.
"Ah, Rhaja. I haven't seen you since Lord Morgraine's coup. Glad to see you haven't joined him. I'd hate to have to kill you..." he said, narrowing his eyes.
"Don' flatta' yourself, mon. I will only serve da Lich King. Where you comin' from? Da Lich King speak to you?"

Dralas
Character: Dralas
Location: Valiance Keep
- As Dralas tried to put out the fires that had started from the bombing, he thought he saw a gnome rush by, but he shrug this off as the fires began to get worse. Dralas abandoned helping with putting out the fires when the scourge began marching closer toward the keep.
As he prepared to begin to defend the keep, he heard a loud blast, as he turned around he saw a line of cannons that had formed on the platform above him. The ships near the keep as well had begun to take aim at the scourge army that had begun its attack. In a matter of minutes, almost all of the scourge had been killed, however, the scourge did manage to send in its champions and now they were inside the keep.
"For the Alliance!" Dralas yelled out as he begun to charge one of the champions. When Dralas had gotten closer he realized he must have chosen the leader of the group, he was unusually larger then the rest and carried a sword that glowed with unholy death.
"Give in you pathetic mortal, you are no match for the scourge" the champion sputtered at him.
"I will never give in to such fiends as you!" Dralas roared and begun his attack on the scourge. Dralas tried to slash the champion but his attack was quickly parried and then knocked back onto his back.
"Foolish mortal, I will enjoy killing you.." the champion had begun to raise his sword to decapitate Dralas.
This can't be it...
Dralas thought to himself. Just then a gnome had jumped onto the back of the champion and slit his throat, and that was all the time Dralas needed to make a final blow on the fiend. The champion had fallen to its death, but before that he heard it whisper something.
"Thanks... for the.. help.." Dralas said as he tried to regain his breath, having been knocked onto his back fairly hard and causing him to get the wind knocked out of him.
"Well, glad I can help at least" the gnome had said.

Character: Morec
Location: Corp'rethar
- "The Lich King has knighted me as one of the cheif Death Knights of the Scourge," Morec said. "This means that you awnser to me."
- "I don't be awnsering to nobody but myself and da Lich King!" the other Death Knight said. "Not even you, old freind."
- Morec unsheathed his runesword - Plaugeblade - and pointed the unholy weapon at the Troll. "You dare question my power?" he asked again, convinced that the Troll would see logic and bow before him.

Character: Dralas
Location: Valiance Keep
- As Dralas looked around after the attack on the keep, all he saw was death. Many had been wounded during that attack and were in critical condition. As Dralas begun to help with the wounded men, the clerk he had seen earlier approached him.
"You there, you said you were going to Dalaran right?" the clerk said. Dralas was all of a sudden confused once again as to why the clerk would want him again.
"Yes, I am planning on going, scourge or no scourge."
"Good then, your first mission as a soldier of the exepedition is to travel to Dalaran and deliver a package for me." The clerk had beckoned a soldier nearby to get the package and handed it to Dralas. It felt like there was a rather heavy object inside.
"What is it? And why is it so important?" Dralas asked curiously
"Don't open that! All I need you to do is get the package to a paladin that is currently in Dalaran." The clerk had taken back the package from Dralas acting a bit suspicious.
"Why me? You have many more soliders that you probaly know much better then me and that you could trust."
"I ask you because you aren't afraid it seems. You may have been stupid, but not afraid when you attacked that champion. That is something that is very rare in man today, and it is this that makes me think that you are trustworthy of this task." The clerk once again glanced down at the package almost in a trance.
"I... suppose I can deliever this.. whatever this is" Dralas said as he took the package from the clerk again. Something just didn't feel right about this,
there is something deeper then a simple delivery in this
Dralas thought.

Character: Dralas
Location:Valiance Keep
- As Dralas sat inside the half-intact inn, he wondered still why he was chosen for this mission.
It just doesn't make sense
Drals thought.
Dralas had been waiting in the inn for others because the clerk had informed him that he had reinforcements coming to travel with him.
That champion, I shouldn't have been that useless against him, how did he see my move before I could see it?
Dralas kept pondering this question alot after his battle with the scourge.
I guess I'll have to train better, or with something else so that won't happen again..
Dralas looked up to see the clerk walking toward him.
"I've got the soldiers I want to send with you now."

((ooc - too much g-moding? ))
Character: Morec
Location: Corp'rethar
- Morec greeted Valinaria with a nod of his head, and then faced the Crypt Lord coming towards him. "You must be Tuten'arak," Morec addressed the aged undead nerubian.
- "You've heard of me?" Tuten'arak asked.
- "Even one as lowly and powerless as yourself does not escape the Lich Kings gaze," Morec explained. "I was told of your coming."
- "Then I suppose that he told you of our mission."
- Morec nodded. "Yes, we are to- hold that thought." He spun around catching the trolls runeaxe on his sword. "You actually think you can best me?" Morec asked.
- "I not gona be takin' that kinda talk from anyone!" Rahja said. "Esspecially not you!"
- "Fool," Morec said, "I'll kill you again if I must."
- "Enough!" the massive Crypt Lord bellowed and struck the gound with all his might. The resulting shockwaves knocked the two death knights back. "We have more important things to do then destroy each other. When do we move against the living?"
- "Right now," Morec said, and began to channel the powers of the shadow worlds to
summon a mount
for himself. "Lets go."
