Feral tank is getting a nice threat boost with this and, well, I can't say that the cat bonus doesn't help but I'd expected something more shiny as a T10. T8 2-set bonus still remains as best set bonus there is for feral cat; Could had given it now instead of Ulduar, would make T10 feel more than epic!

4 pieces: Your Enrage ability no longer decreases your armor and instead decreases all damage taken by 12%, and the periodic damage done by your Rake ability can now be a critical strike.

Again, I can't say this isn't nice but I'd really want them to be more creative on set bonuses.. of course they have to keep things balances but exact same migitation bonuses in tiers are just lame. Like they'd not have enough people to shoot out ideas. Anyway, Enrage will make Feral Tank's life a lot easier since now we / they have two 1-minute cooldowns. Barkskin (20% reduction) and Enrage (12% reduction). Sweet!
Also the feral cat bonus is pretty neat, and something I've actually been waiting for a long time.

I know it's PTR, for now, but what's with armor pen on all gear? Almost no use for bears/tanks.

The 4 pieces bonus seems to be pretty awesome.

Assuming that you have 50% crit (and you most probably have around 60%), you could take your last recount dps report and multiply your rake dps by 1.6.
For me, that's a bonus of ~500dps.

You could now draw the conclusion that arp losses some of its value since rake doesn't get any benefit from it.
However, rake is still way behind shred and white hits, so we probably just need more arp to make it more valuable than agility again.

Fortunately, there's lots of arp on t10, bringing us way over 800 arp when upgrading from t9 level gear, killing this issue before it could even arise.

Edit:
As a side note, this will probably lead us to get rid of arp proc trinkets and go for the hard cap of 1400. Let's hope we get some arp/hit items because we will lose a lot of hit.

Furthermore, this actually may be the rare case of equipping all 5 pieces of a tier set.

Wow, just wow. This set will be amazing for bear tanks.

However I feel the 2 piece bonus could stand some change for the cat form bonus, maybe if it was shred costing 10 less energy. :)

Am I the only one concerned about the lack of blue sockets on the feral gear? I realize we can either use hybrid gems or ignore the socket bonus, but it would be nice to have a couple blue sockets like all of the other tanking sets. Bear tanks want agi socket bonuses too =/

I think that the red sockets are reserved for cat dps, because the bonus of tier set is on tank side :)!

You can always use the agi/stam gems for red sockets and in one of the yellows use a tear gem, that helps one problem!

Going Away Completely

MP5 - This stat will be removed from the game completely. Holy paladins and Restoration shaman will be redesigned to benefit from Spirit.

Defense - Defense is being removed from the game entirely. Tanking classes should expect to become uncrittable versus creatures just by shifting into Defensive Stance, Frost Presence, Bear Form, or by using Righteous Fury.

Spell Ranks - Spell ranks will cease to exist. All spells will have one rank and will scale appropriately with level. The levels at which you can learn certain spells are being changed in order to fill in some of the gaps, and we will be introducing some new spells to learn along the way as well.

Weapon Skill - This stat will be removed from the game completely. Classes will start with all the weapon skills they need to know and will not need to improve them.

For bear tanks, there are some substantial bonuses here.

The (2) set bonus significantly increases Swipe (multi-target) and Lacerate (single-target and somewhat multi-target) damage, and therefore helps to maintain threat.

The (4) set bonus helps immensely. With it, Enrage gives us over half of the damage reduction that Barkskin gives us, meaning you can cycle through them for a higher up-time in damage reduction or hit them both at once when you get into sticky situations. In addition, it allows bear druids to safely spec into King of the Jungle for +15% damage with Enrage. Because Enrage substantially decreases armor without the (4) set bonus from this tier, it is dangerous and often not worth it for druids to spec into KotJ because of the amount of extra damage they take. But, with the bonus, there isn't really a good reason not to spec into it.

End Result: Permanent boost to multi-target and single-target damage/threat due to Lacerate and Swipe buffs, as well as another cooldown that decreases damage taken and increases damage done (w/ KotJ). Definitely a great gear set for bear tanks, at least in terms of bonuses. But, like all other pieces of gear available to bear tanks, you won't see the many socket bonuses since most druid tanks prefer to fill the majority of their sockets with Solid Majestic Zircon (blue). I suppose it's only a small loss of stats, primarily agility, but it would be nice to see more blue sockets in feral gear.
