The wizardweave items are extremely good to have made if you do not have any T1 or T2 pieces for FR fights like flame packs and Rags. If you are currently raiding MC and are getting close to Rags and you do not have over 75 FR which is a must you need these items

With the increase in arcane damage in Burning Crusade, these items remain useful despite their low ilevel.

While there aren't many boss fights that require arcane resistance in large amounts, AR is very useful when crafting Spellcloth (and fighting the Nether-wraiths that spawn).

These. i find at least, are a good way to make money, farm (or buy *shrug*) a lot of runecloth, buy some dream dust off ah, and then them de'd about 5g of mats turns into about 6-12g

Roleplayers may be interested to know that this robe comes in several colours.

Blue - Frostweave Robe, Robe of Winter Night, Kirin Tor Apprentice's Robes
Red - Robe of Doan
Yellow - Wizardweave Robe
Purple - Shadoweave Robe, Robes of the Lich
Gray - Zandalar Demoniac's Robe, Garb of Royal Ascension, Arcane Robe

Maxed tailoring and I'm unable to learn this at a trainer, anyone know why?

These robes use the Orange variant of the "C2 Robe" artwork.

Despite the names, the other pieces of Wizardweave gear don't come from the same artwork as this robe.

If you're interested in other gear from the same set of artwork, the only one I can find in the game is the belt: Thuzadin Sash. It was designed to match the blue scrollwork on the hems.

Art exists for a matching headpiece and boots in that set, but as far as I can tell neither is used in the game. If the headpiece existed it'd look like a yellow-orange version of Whitemane's Chapeau with silver-blue scrollwork and a blue gem. The boots would probably be slippers (i.e. no calf section) and look like the foot half of Audi's Embroidered Boots, only orange with blue lines instead of red with purple lines.

There's also artwork in the set for shoulders, but oddly for every colour variant but the "Orange" one. If the item existed in the game, it'd look a lot like Black Mageweave Shoulders, except with more of a blue border to match the hems of the robes and probably an orange inset to match the robes.

For disenchanting this robe ROCKS! Bought it today for a 6g buyout.
There is no tailoring pattern 51+ that is this easy to make. So far 4xGreater Eternal and 4xIllusion Dust on 5 robes.

when useing any epics in MC the repair bill isnt friendly thats y i would use these over flarecore as it will save lots of money making and using, 7/8felheart btw like i said repair bill hates me, i want some cheap greens to save my purse.

When you noobs do BWL, fire resist comes second to aggro management. Nigh impossible to do Vaelstras without some decent FR. Wizardweave is the best next thing next to Flarecore. Add some librams of resilience for 20+ to head or legs and you're all set.

ROFL. you obviously have never done the vael fight and have NO idea what your talking about.

EVERYONE should have a MINIMUM of 100-150fr for vael. tanks should have 275-300.

every 5-10 seconds or so the whole room will get hit with his aoe that does roughly 700 dmg. me having around 220FR *UNBUFFED* i take very little damage, if i dont resist it all together. the newer people with less FR tend to go down fast.

So yea, ALL 40 PEOPLE need MAX FR even if that means compromising some stats.

you will get the curse, that debuff that gives you unlimited mana/rage/energy. so for casters int and spi isnt a thing until like the last 30sec - 1min of the fight when the curse wears off.

I'm trying to get my stuff together for MC with FR and such. Since pallies usually* stay back and heal would this cloth armor work for MC?

I have 77 fire ress unbuffed as a priest and have had no problems what so ever up to Firemaw in BWL. Neither do the regular bosses in MC pose much threat for a priest with 77 fire ress.

So much for the leet player claiming EVERBODY needs 100-150 fire ress on Vael....obviously i didnt. Btw are you making those epic fire ress patterns and are afraid of market going down?

I understand that people spending a lot of time and money on getting advanced fire ress gear thinks it is very important. It helps and of course it depends on wich class you are. But still, no need for us priests to get all worked up about it it seems....not untill Nef or Raggy at least.

This robe is pretty useless unless you want to raid. But I suppose this is pretty good for raiding if you desperately need resistances BUT you should try to go with something with stats if you can find ANYTHING better. At all.

After weeks of grinding, I can finally make this and the Turban on Azjol-Nerub EU server (Horde side).

Great way to boost your Fire Res if you're just starting out in MC.
