I got these on my hunter and I cannot complain. they drop from the boss (princess) in the instance Mara. She is right next to the last gater boss who is in the water below her. Possibly a twink item for hunters.

If you're farming this item; I recommend following these simple steps:

0). Make an equip-set that is completely blank (no items equipped) and call it "X" (it really makes no difference what you call it). Also; make sure you have enough bag space to hold all your equipped gear (and a few extra spaces, for good measure), before you head to the instance.

1). Head inside Maraudon via the "Earth Song Falls" (Inner) entrance.
2). Head to the Princess, kill her, loot her...
3). Equip set "X" (or whatever you named the blank set, in step 0).
4). Jump off the nearby falls and let Rotgrip kill you (face your back to him, to speed this up a bit).
5). Release and run back to the "The Wicked Grotto" (Purple) entrance, to res yourself.
6). Re-equip your gear, step back out of the instance and use:/run ResetInstances()
7). Repeat from step 1.

Just killed the princess in a group and she dropped both the mace and wristguards; I wanted the ring damnit >< Oh well, I won the wristguards but im not sure if I should use these or other wristguards that add +14 AGI.

These bracers are very good for a hunter looking for that extra +30 Attack Power. Incase you haven't noticed (guy who posted two up from me) +.. Attack Power increases ranged damage.

My hunter is only my alt, so forgive me if I've been misinformed about any of this.

1 agi = 2 ranged AP for hunters. That means that the +30 AP on these bracers give you just as much ranged attack power as 15 agility would. What it does not give you is the crit% and armor mitigation that agility would. Ironaya's Bracers of the Monkey (which we'll assume is the ideal version for hunters) give you 7-8 agi and 7-8 stam. Princess's bracers give you almost as much HP, twice as much ranged attack power, and extra mana to boot�at the cost of less crit% and less armor.

A more experienced hunter can feel free to correct me on any of this, but i know they're on my alt's wishlist.

These are great for hunts, the int gives u more for shots, the AP is awesome, since it effects ranged AND melee, and the stam is pretty good. this is def hunt or enh sham(though i think its better for hunts)

are you kidding me? There's bracers available within this level range that give a straight 15 agility! The only armor that does that with strength is plate. You get dual utility from agi, both crit AND attack power. Shaman gets only crit from agility. This means we have to rely on +atp or +str gear to fill the holes in our character builds (and ever since 1.11 we need atp more than ever before)

If anything, this should go priority to Shaman. Enh shamans at this level are using absolute trash compared to this - we can't just go onto the AH and find mail/leather greens that are worth using like you can. The last month I think I've seen 3 'of the bear' items in my level range.

Just ran Mara with a group and the plate wearers were nice enough to let me have them after they rolled (lol), so as a hunter I was most pleased.

as of patch 2.0 Agility = 1 Ap which makes +AP armour a lot more valuable because this now has the equivalent of +30 agility on it :) which i dont think u get till cryptstalker (hunter T3 set) so.....ya nuf said

I would recommend getting the WSG bracers, if you are having trouble getting this drop. Exellent stats on those too, and if you dont plan to twink, i see no reason not to wait till you hit 50 and use the WSG ones.

^ Yea I always get the WSG bracers, for one they are purple :), +34 AP good stam and int bonus,

Slap an assult enchant on them and you have +56 AP :)

I have had these since 50 i think. The AP is ok, it doesnt help to much for me unless i go oom and melee. The stats are ok too i slaped +5 strength on them so i can block better with my sheild since i lack that stat a bit.

Check out the Epic PvP bracers from WSG they are now more than easy to obtain (I'd say as long as it takes you to run Mara once or twice) and better than this drop. They require lvl 50 so you would have to do all your pvp grinding at 49 before you can get them. Oh yeah they are called Windtalker's Wristguards.

Drops off Princess Theredras in Maraudon. Good braces for a hunter even tho there's no agility increase.

Just to clarify, the +30AP affects both melee and ranged attack powers. The same is true for all armor and weapons, which would explain why some bows have a +AP effect on them (in case you were wondering).

That aside, this is a great piece of armor for hunters and shamans alike. I plan to get a set to complete my 40's BG set, so hopefully the princess will be feeling generous on my run.

i have a set on my hunter... the +30AP makes it OK for us despite no +agil (i'm pretty sure the +30AP hits ranged too), so it's like the same as +15 agil for AP w/o the dodge/crit/AC bonus.

i added a +7 stam chant to it and it's great for PvP hitpoint goodness at +13 = +130 HP.

not sure what the next bestest drop for hunter mail wrists are...

i found Bindings of Elements yesterday in strat, but those are most definitely a shaman set piece. sigh.

I use this both for pvp and for pve grinding as a shaman. It has a +5 sta enchant on it. Though for pve, spirit gear is probably more desirable.

Imo, Marksman Bands are better. The Agi+bows, is chance to hit, chance to crit, dodge, and ap. Better than just ap. Oh, did I forget the GODLY +5ac? jk. But still... I got my pair of bands for 10g.

I hope I'm not double posting but my first isn't showing up. Get the WSG epic bracers (they are now a 3 hour grind to get depending if your faction is winning WSG). They are better all around - Windtalker's Wristguards.
