Just got this on my mage. At level 77 it was easy, only had to go in twice to get them before they dropped.
Looked to get it to go with the Vestments of the Shifting Sands.

These gloves use the light tan and purple (officially "Purple") variant of the "Horde B5 Robe" artwork. They match Highborne Robes. Please see my comment on the page for that robe for more info on related pieces and colours.

when in ZF, the witch doctor is the mob in the room where all the graves are that u can open, he is in the small room to the right standing behind a bubbling cauldron. when attacked, he conjures help in the form of zombies and robot looking things.

Think these are some very nice gloves to stick with, i am 52 now and still wear them ;p

I was lucky on these, dropped in my 2nd run and i won the roll having a priest and mage in the party. Never saw them drop again lol ;p and ive been there a load of times trying to get the Bad Mojo Mask

Got ninja'd by a pally who thought they were plate, even tho we were passing on Blues and BoP. To him they were vendor trash. Makes me upset to think about it. As a mage I wanted them :-). Ran two times since and greens dropped both times.

So what if they aren't leather! The hit in armor points is nothing when compared to the increase in all other stats these gloves give. Go ahead and cry, but ANY caster can roll on these in my mind.

hes right, warlocks usually don't agro, unless you are stupid or your tank just sucks

BUT

in instances warlocks do run out of mana.
life tap makes a warlocks life = mana
therefore i think awrlocks need stamina more than mages.

BUT

i think all casters have a right to roll on these. These gloves are good for any caster.

You people make no sense!
These are Cloth gloves with very high stats in all the areas Cloth wearers alike Need!

Ergo, any Cloth wearer (Mage, Priest and Warlock) deserves to roll for these.

And Mages DO NEED stamina, as previously mentioned I for one am not gonna run around with 3.5K mana and 200 Health! 1 hit kills against me FTW? get a grip

Until i loot these my Dreamweaves will do nicely ;)

Got those nice gloves today.. had 2 runs, the first time they droped, but every one died, and they was gone.. second run, they droped again, me and another lock roll'ed for them and i won.. so nice...

Got these today, no one in group has ever seen them drop before. They're were 3 mages in group who all need roll and I lucked out.

Out of the 5 or 6 times I have killed Witch Doctor Zum'rah these have dropped 2 or 3 times...I guess I got lucky...But what the bastard refuses to drop for me is Zum'rah's Vexing Cane, a very nice staff for casters...Damn you Witch Doctor!

Today I was in ZF group as 42 priest. We had Master looting on and we rolled for some items that were already been dropped. Then these came out and I of course needed them. We rolled. I rolled 94 and that shammy rolled 8.. He was master looter and gave them to himself. I was like WTF? I need those gloves! Then he said: "I need to heal" There were 49 resto druid, 60 tier 2 warrior 45 dest warlock and 47 ENCHANTMENT shaman. So wtf that shammy is going to need them for healing if there's a Disc / holy priest and full resto druid?.. That shammy was wearing even a fiery war axe. I gave 1g to everyone in group except him and said that I'm sorry for what's going to happen... I mounted and started to run all around places to tank mobs. After they finally got me. They attacked other guys and that shammy was WTF? Then that Noob ignored me =D

i was so excited to get a blue that i could use as a mage and they had nice stats. But i never could use them over my frostweave gloves with the great +dmg they gave.

i prefered dreamweave gloves over these.. +damage is just too good to pass up, spirit is useless for locks, and although it has more int and sta then dreamweave gloves, those stats can be gained from other items...
the damage bonus is just too great

dude...yea this is good for all spellcaster types... but to be honest im starting to get annoyed at how everyone thinks they know everything about locks
yes we have life tap
id also like to add i rarely use anything other then an imp or a succubus in an instance
neither are the best tanks in the world, but tanking is not a locks job in this situation, and i end up using heath funnel often.
next if anyone decided to fear or HOT then dot stuff like your in pvp in ZF your damn stupid, and in most instances your just gonna lure like 20 more humaniods and kill yourself.
in an instance the pet stops mattering so much and the role becomes much like a slow mage, though dots are flawless when maintained right.
my point to all this LOCKS NEED THE STANIMA!
and if they dont manage it correctly theyre usless
i got these glove my first run and they rock =]
i life tap a few times and usually the spirit replenishes everything a bit quicker. to be honest, its very nice having any gear with even stats like this for a lock.

I love how idiots roll needs on stuff they can do without.
Casters sometimes do get shafted when it comes to stuff like this. Everyone can wear cloth, but casters can't wear other stuff...

These gloves are actually great for all casters, locks can use the +stam, priests love the +spir, and mages love the +int.

I wear these when instancing (better mana control and survivability) and exchange 'em with Dreamweave Gloves when PvPing. Spell damage is a lot more powerful than some make it out to be, especially when it adds up. When your pyroblast is doing about +150-200 (don't forget to take increase crit damage into account) more in the 40's than another mage's, it won't really matter who has the bigger mana pool or not. PvP is kill first or get your ass kicked. If you're not using up all your mana pool in PvP, you really shouldn't need more intellect.

Got these last night on my first run as a 44 fire mage doing ZF with 50 rogue 49 frost mage and 42 shadow priest. Warrior pissed us off by leaving in the first 5 mins, didnt think we would do it but with some tatical sheeping sapping etc it's actually easy with the right people.

In my opinion these are awesome gloves if you play like I do, which is questing or dungeoning, I have a completley different equip for PvP which of course adds tons of damage (robes of power, celestial stave,dreamweave gloves etc..)

So in short it depends what you do the most, if you are 50/50 PvP then you need a change of clothes with plus damage on all items then your instance eqip that gives you a lot of int and stam. In dungeons I find extra stam very useful when your AOE doesnt hit as well as it's supposed to and you agg 6 pigs or something it allows me to kill tem all before they tear me apart.

I wouldn't be pissed off if any cloth wearer needed these as they will find them usefull in different situations. Would be a littled pissed if anyone needed these over a cloth wearer but i see druids and shamans do that all the time

These are great for any caster. I currently have them on my 44 Holy Priest, and they kick ass. They go great with his Robes of Insight.

Think these beacame obsolete in 2.3 with the introduction of the new reward Gloves of the Dune from the quest Rise of the Silithid...Unless you just gotta take that +1 int and +10 spirit over the +12 spell damage, lmao! So i think these are probably of more use to a priest now than Warlocks/Mages tbh.

Equip these or Dreamweave?
I'm a 47 Frost Mage, but I think the arguments would be the same for any type of caster. Got these last night ... I like these stats, but hate giving up the + damage.

Well i have runned ZF about 10 times as a mage and killed the witch doktor every time ofc but...the glovs nor the staff have never droped from it. And i runned sm libary about 20 times and i still diddnt see illu rod drop so WTF!
Does Blizzard really hate me or what...

Weird that these are Unique, makes me wonder if Blizz was thinking about allowing players to wear different gloves on each hand at some point.
