Not wise to waste honor for this shield if you are planning to do "AoE" grinding with protection paladin. Wait two levels and pick the shield below instead. You will block a lot when fighting against multiple melee enemies. Therefore it beats 5% chance easily and does more damage over time.

48 nature damage over 12 seconds. Ticks every 3 seconds.
Up to 240 nature damage over 12 seconds (max. 5 stacks).
Every applied poison spores will refresh the total duration even if there is 5 stacks already.

hmm. As i See it 5% Is alot when u are killing 7-12 Mobs at the same time, I'm getting this to my Alt, I don't Believe u and If u r Right I will learn i the hard way. Btw if u r a Prot warr, u can find better shields:P

This shield is weilded by Bolvar Fordragon when he (Practicly) ruled Stormwind and (SPOILER ALERT!) at the Battle at the Wrath Gate. showing he represented all the races of the alliance Bolvar will be missed....

As of 4.0.1 cost is 185 Honor Points, not 90 as stated here.

On PTR for 4.3 this item cannot be used for transmogrification. Hope this will change or Blizz will offer an additional item with this skin.

Ok for my fellow Paladins,

Holy get a Grand Marshal's Warhammer with either off hand Grand Marshal's Tome of Restoration or Lei of the Lifegiver.

Protection Get a Grand Marshal's Swiftblade and a Grand Marshal's Aegis.

Retribution Get a Grand Marshal's Battle Hammer.

does rep with AB lower the price of the honor it takes to get this with the new patch? i'm currently reverved with Strompike guard and the Immovable Object costs me 7k honor and 30 MOH, now i know this shield is better, but there's a huge diference from 7k to 22k, and i was wondering cus' i hate AB so my rep with them is still neutral, will it lower the price if i get to friendly?

is this worth getting over some of the other epic pvp armor if u have the immovable object already. What are the main benefits of using the aegis of the immovable object, I mean like for me some of the epic pieces would provide almost as much honor. That would leave basicly the +str, block, extra dmg and what not

The shield is ok, the hordes high warlord version is alot cooler looking imo, lol its just the helm that looks gay and throws off the whole set XD
