I am currently using the T4 chest piece, should I spend the 100 badges for this once the vendor opens up?

Alright 2 things:

1. Does anyone know the correct armor on this piece? I've seen both 1055 armor and 988 armor....which is correct?

2. If any of you have time, could you please look me up on the armory and let me know if you think I should choose this piece when the badge vendor sells stuff, or if I should go for the crossbow? Your help would be greatly appreciated! (Jaidan on Kirin Tor server)

Better still for ENH shaman is the Vestments of Hibernation ( https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=33579 ). With STR and AGL rather then AP or Crit, it's more useful in T4 Raids. Armor ignore is also very nice. Also, it doesn't require gemming, so it doesn't require extra investment (past an inexpensive +6 to Stats enchant). And at 75 badges compared to 100, it's less expensive.

OK.... I know there's a ton of mathcrafting to show why this is a great chestpiece. But when it comes down to it they're catering to one specific market.

It's the "I need a chestpiece with a picture of the bad guy from all those Sonic games on it!" crowd.

This is THE upgrade for me from my current Demon chest. My guild is not going back for tier 5 and tier 6 is a ways off. Too bad the vest of mounting assault isn't better considering how far in you have to go to get it.

BM Hunters should keep in mind that stacking too much haste can cause our beloved Steady / Auto / Kill Command rotation to clip, causing a lot of DPS loss.

However, I have heard rumours about changes involving Steady Shot and Auto Shot coming with the new patch, something about unlinking those two. If this would be true, that should mean that the text I have written above, would become false.

Toss in a +10 Agility gem in this thing and its by far better then anything you can get before T6 chest in the game for a BM hunter. Before getting this I had the dragon scale LW chest, and even that was hard to replace due to my luck in drops.

100 badges well spent, and now if your not getting at least 30 a week with the instances the way they are post 3.0.2 you dont deserve to be even playing the game.

This is definately worth it for an Enhancement shaman or a Hunter.It's very hard to replace it , and if you're just starting to PvE you won't replace it until maybe you hit Hyjal to replace it if you're an enhancement shaman with Midnight Chestguard from Archimonde ... So it's definately worth the 100 badges.

You can get it from the new vednor on the isle of quel'dalas, IF your server has reached stage three of the dailey quests there. I think you get it around 50% of the way to the next goal. I just picked this up yesterday, quite nice for my spec.

So which is it 988 Armor or 1055 Armor wowwiki shows it at 1055 Armor and thottbot and wowhead show it at 988. I am so confused

This Chestguard has 988 Armor. Just FYI it's and incredible chestpiece that costs 100 Badge of Justice's to buy.

Ha! If you think the one from Heroic Mgt is better you need to take a closer look. This is way better if you know how to play your class. I jumped at the chance to grab it, and I have the MgT one as well.

100 badges very well spent!
