This dropped for me yesterday in Strat, it looks pretty cool too. It's white and looks longer than your average cloak or cape.

Interesting that this cloak has +defense on it.. Feral druids no longer need defense, so this is aimed at Deathknights maybe?

Extra armor on it, which is why the 504 armor is in green letters. I am willing to bet that this would be a great choice for a feral tank since they get many times the armor from items.

Not only is it a very good tanking cloak for any classes out there, but it's also white and looks longer than your average cloak or cape.

And.... you know you can't go into Naxx without a cape that is white and looks longer than your average cloak or cape.

It is believed that Patchwerk can actually oneshot any tank not wearing a cape which is white and looks longer than your average cloak or cape.

Death Knight tanks only need to do a few dailies on top of typical quests and they can get a far superior item in the Cloak of Peaceful Resolutions.

Considering the required level, and that it's easy to get Honored with the Accord by level 75 with minimal abuse of dailies; the Rep. Cloak is far and above the better choice.

I'm going to make it perfectly clear that this is not a great cloak for druids. In the 3.0.8 patch feral armor bonuses are being reworked so that only cloth and leather armor receives it. Cloaks are not considered cloth (or rather, only considered cloth for AH purposes) and as such you can essentially consider this a cloak with 37 strength and 39 stamina.

Now is it bad? No, of course not. It does give a little dodge, strength translates to threat and the stamina... well any druid tank worth their salt knows they want to stack stamina. And at the moment the armor is absolutely sexy. But come 3.0.8? There'll be better. I guarantee it.

Still, its your call. I keep my Cloak of the Gushing Wound from heroic VH on hand just because all around it has better stamina, agility which means better avoidance and come patch the armor bonus will be negligible.

I have to say i missed the whole 'It's white and looks longer than your average cloak or cape', and i have to say that overall https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=44188 is a much better cloak for a prot pally than this. A load more stam, more def and hit rating - i will gladly pass on the 6 str and the (albeit nice) armor bonus for these stats.

P.S. i know the wyrmrest cloak looks like bloody vomit down my back, so its 'hide cloak' ftw
