This weapon is clearly just a optionable weapon for anyone it has ok Speed and not great but ok amount of DPS to it also but there is almost anything that would be better than this.

this could be good for a protection paladin working on their reckoning talent (level 31-35) because the speed is under 2.0 seconds. by level 35, I would hope you could find a higher-level weapon with the right speed, but this will hold you until then.

Looks like SW guard sword if you are wanting to screw around in imperial plate armour looking like SW guard after you ding 70.

For the Horde plans for this weapon are available at the Ogrimmar blacksmith supplier, so don't be duped into buying them at the AH.

This is the first iron weapon that a blacksmith can make. Unfortunately the only thing it really has going for it is speed. It's pretty quick, but in every other way it's a completely ordinary sword. It even looks ordinary. What really seals the coffin, however, is the fact that it is a main hand only weapon. If it could be used in the off hand as well many more warriors and rogues would have a reason to use it.

yea i am a black smith and im a rogue i made this weapon i thought it was gonan be better then it was, its not designed for a rogue but good for a mage or warlock for extra damage.

this sword is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE waste of materials, dont bother making it, keep the moonstones for something useful like shining silver breastplate

This isn't good for classes like warriors and rogues. It's more of a weapon for classes like mages and warlocks

Well first off I've used this for about 4 levels on my protection paladin and I really can't find anything else I'd rather use..
5 Stamina is a big plus and it's fast, I've outdpsed other classes while tanking.
I put +4 weapon damage and i use solid sharpening stones(+6) for a total of +10 and this weapon owns.
Also it was expensive as hell to make.

I was surprised at how fast this sword was! I laid on Seal of the Crusader and I swear I was swinging every second (or slightly faster!). I would love to get one of these enchanted with a proc and see how often it goes off per minute! Less-than-awesome-looking sword but better looking than Bronze Shortsword. Probably would be a great off-hand for a Rogue/Hunter/Warrior.
