Interesting. The Epic Gems in Burning Crusade started dropping in Black Temple. So not until Karazhan, SSC, TK, Mount Hyjal and Black Temple raids had been introduced did they bring in the epic gems.

I see Ulduar as the Wrath equivalent of SSC/TK in terms of progression in the expansion. I highly doubt we'll see the epic gems drop from Ulduar.

that may be, but that was BC, this is wrath. There was attunement for BC raids, no 10 and 25 man versions of BC raids, and no additional hard modes within those raids for better loot so whatever applied to BC doesn't necessarily apply to wrath. These gems are in the items list, and since ulduar just came out it's likely these will make an appearance sooner than later since only ulduar loot has been added to this database.

Epic gems won't come until at least patch 3.2.
Possibly later, but 3.2 seems right

I replace my Runed Scarlet Rubies with the Runed Cardnal Rubies, expecting a +7sp increase on each and only got that some of the time. The other times I got +4sp increase. Can't figure out why it was constent in the +7sp.

I believe this is the 4.0.1 replacement for the Runed Cardinal Ruby.

I always thought that the plus 19 spell power was the best spell power gem avalible. Can anyone confirm or deny this and if it is in game give a location.
