I did this as a part of the "World Explorer" achievement. Northrend and Outland are so easy due to the use of a flying mount. Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms are no fun if you didn't do it while leveling... Thank God I am a Paladin and have the Crusader Aura :D The title is cool too, I am now Arasha the Explorer! Very cool

Just had to say, when i caught win of them bringing achievements to WoW i thought, could be interesting, and then i heard of 'The Explorer' Title. Luckily a friend of mine started to play via recruit a friend, and i made a paladin with him. Now, my Female Bloodelf paladin, Dora, has 'The Explorer' title

Actually, it's the middle part of the azeroth world map. The blue "globe" the ocean between Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor. You can see part of the landmases at the edges, including parts of Northrend.

This tabard actually matches the paladin T7.5, I was surprised when I found a tabard that matched gold, gray, and teal. Then again...people say the colours on Valorous Redemption look ugly...people also say that about this tabard!

Its kinda hard to see the different continents on women and blood elves, the entire picture is distorted.

I think blizz should add tabards to a drop down and select category, like the achievement titles so we can have more bags/bank space. Carrying armor sets and profession items, quest items and ect... takes too much room already.

After some hard work I managed to get this on a locked level 1, I'll post a screeny,
Completed Kalimdor, working on Eastern Kingdoms and Outlands.
I'm moving on to a level 1 explorer :)
Corpse dragging takes less time then finding a lock to tele me everywhere,
though I have to do that for the Isle of Quel'danas and
the Netherwing Ledge in Shadowmoon Valley

*edit* I know some people will start moaning about this being a fake,
I cannot prove it cause the armory doesnt display a level 1.
As soon as I have the title as well, I will make a Youtube video.

Pleasantly surprised today to see this giving me Horde Expedition rep while doing heroics. Had never actually worn this before and had no idea it did this.

Wow, as much as I wanted this tabard, now that I have it, bleh... it's pretty epicly ugly.

On my fem BE hunter, it just looks like a silver-white blob in the center of my toon's chest. Nothing special at all, any random guild tabard looks better.

The only good thing is it make my toon's sweater puppies look even bigger. Kinda like the tabard comes with a support bra insert, for lift and separation.

Confirmed wearing this in Heroics and LVL 80 dungeons gives you Explorer's League reputation on par with other Northrend tabards as Alliance only..

Still no rewards for explorer's league rep are yet in the game, or available to players.

It only gives explorer's league rep for alliance, gives the horde equivalent to the hordies (don't know what they're called). Now what I'm wondering is, is there a tabard for the tuskkar rep?

got the tabard some time ago, and i love it. i always use it a.
but today when i was at Ahn´kahet i got 999/1000 exalted with The hand of veangeace, and after it start to count for The Taunka reputation, apparently, when u get 999exalted on one faction, it starts to count for the next one in ur char page.

Great way to start off a lvl 19 twink! get any race goto a main city send some gold to him get port to Dalaran and if you have a 2nd account with a 2 seat epic flyer from Recruit a friend log on and fly your alt every where, i did this at lvl 1 and got to lvl 9, i was happy because its an easy way to look more festive how ever you spell that and you lvl up to 9 makeing you 1 lvl away from BG's!

You get rep wearing the tabard in lvl80 hc dungeons too. The rep is for the Alliance Vanguard, so it seems the rep is spread over the four factions.

This tabard matches the Paladin's Tier 1 set quite nicely, for anyone making a pally twink out there

Edit: forgot to mention, if you have a friend with the X-53 nether rocket, this achievement is easy to get

For people saying this Tabard gives Explorer's League rep, its not a rep tabard like the Ebon Blade tabard. When not wearing a specific rep tabard, you simply get reputation with the Alliance Vanguard or Expedition (not sure which) or Horde equivalents, and once you're exalted with both of them, you get 25% of the rep you would've gotten for them for your highest subfaction.

Getting this tabard and the world explorer achievement is much easier in cataclysm because you can use fast flying mounts due to the Flight master's license

I got this tabard as level 1 on foot. Was extremely difficult.

Not sure why this was down voted. I did achieve this as level 1. But it was back when we could actually graveyard hop. Was for my level 1 twink rogue.

This tabard is an award for completing the achievement to discover all of the northrend maps. It is not necessary to earn the explorer achievement (uncovering all maps including azeroth and outland) to get the tabard but most people will probably get this achievement as the last part of the explorer achievement which will mean getting the tabard and the title at the same time. Getting cold weather flying at level 77 so you can fly in northrend is essential since there are some areas you can only discover on a flying mount and many others are very difficult to get over on land.
