I see this being very useful for levelling shadow priests. Activate the buff just before a Spirit Tap proc for a mini-innervate effect.

or how about disc priests having some fun outside of pvp, divne spirit, imp divine spirit, spirit tap (tier 1 shad) and this combined with the new relevance of stacking spirit = woah

If anyone is wondering how this fares against Stormbound Tome for a balance druid with 3/3 Lunar Guidance and 3/3 Improved Moonkin Form :

+24 Spirit (it includes the 50 spirit averaged out, which is 15)
-1 Intellect
-9 Critical Strike Rating
+6 Spellpower (from the spirit)

Now, as you can see, I didn't count the dmg from the "on use" ability on the other off-hand as it costs 33% base mana which is equal to ~2 starfires and dmgs for around 400 average while a starfire can regularly hit for double that.

I for one will go with the Manual of Clouds because the extra regen is handy for the, little, time we are ooc and even better if you get Intensity soon (which you probably shouldn't but it can happen for more.. well-rounded builds I guess) and the extra spellpower which is somewhat better than the CSR.

As a test I made one of these so I could equip before fights, pop its Head in the Clouds buff, and swap back to my regular gear. Alas my head remains firmly grounded, as I am sad to report the buff fades immediately if you unequip the book.

As a healer, I found this to be more useful than the level 60 Inscription options.
