Actually, its One-Handed, not Off-Handed, so yes, this can be used by any tank class able to use axes. Just means you can dual wield them, if you were so inclined (like a DK).

This axe will be a decent replacement for those few tanks or fresh 80s who have yet to get their hands on a Red Sword of Courage. For those of us who have gotten one, I honestly can't advise getting one of these unless you want it for roleplay or just looks, the Red Sword seems like the better of the two, unless you're really hurting for that six defense.

This is a solid tanking weapon for the Tanking S&B'er, yes even though it's not a Sword :)
In fact filtering through gear, a new 80 can't really do better prior to Raid/Heroics per current patch.

Even more solid for Horde (well Orcs) than Allies (Humans, Dwarves) due to Racial expertise bonuses.

Just in case people we're wondering (And I've confirmed this on two cases)...

Since the axe has it's own natural glow, enchants will not add their own glow.

I've got these Duel Wielded on my Death Knight, they are defiantly worth It. The defence is really better than the level 80 blue that everyone has, also I find these more affective than the two handed mace Titansteel Destroyer, It gives more total defence, but you lose some stam. These helped me to get defence capped, so the Defence was more important.

this is a pretty good axe for fresh lvl 80 tanks i got this and it works pretty well but i do have 1 question if i can get my hands on the red sword of coruage should i switch out for the sword or keep the axe?

If I have Nighttime as my main hand and I'm a DW DK Frost Tank, should I use this or the Red Sword of Courage as my offhand?
