This flower is mostly found in watery areas (near lakes and mostly in Vashj'ir ).

So far, I've found this herb in Hyjal near any of the lakes or small rivers/streams/ponds, and all over Vashj'ir

I am also not having much luck at all with Azshara's veil. I have tried in Hyjal near water but generally find a node every 5 minutes if I'm lucky. I am trying in Vashjir right now, but am not finding very many at all. Compared to how abundant Twilight Jasmine is in Twilight Highlands, or Cinderbloom and Heartblossom in Deepholm, this ratio of Azshara's Veil doesn't seem right, and that's not cool, considering I need Azshara's Veil to make my Flask of the Draconic Mind >.<

If anyone has any more luck than me, let us know!

This can be found in Tol Barad Peninsula.

There is a fair amount of this in Tol Barad, in the rivers and also in the Cape of Lost Hope. As a plus to Vashj'ir, it's not as spread out. As a minus, you can't fly here. Oh, and watch out for the level 85 elite shark.

I've been having better luck in the Abyssal Depths area of Vashj'ir; there seems to be more Azshara's Veil here than Stormvine as compared to the Shimmering Expanse and Kelp'thar Forest where the ratio seemed to be the other way around.

EDIT: Having had more time to compare, Abyssal Depths is still doing it for me in Vashj'ir, however, Tol Barad seems to be the place the go if you JUST want Azshara's Veil. (Potions of) Water Walking, Path of Frost, etc., make it pretty quick to get around, you don't have to worry much about mobs except in the one cove with the shark, and there's the added bonus of finding the occasional pool of Shipwreck Debris to fish up some goodies from.

Tol Barad is without a doubt the best zone.
I went around the huge "moat" around "The Darkwood" and picked up around 15 nodes.
If you're serious about farming this get a water walking buff as it will provide extremely handy as you can't fly in this zone and that's the fastest way to pick them up.

Vashj'r is too big and limited to be even compared.

Vashj'ir is a very nice place to farm herbs for Herbalism if you know where to go. I have constructed a route for this, which can be seen here. This route is heavily populated with Stormvine and Azshara's Veil.

This herb SUCKS to farm! I swam all around Vashj'ir and found a total of 4 (two nodes). I hearthed and went to Hyjal and got a total of 6 more after 20 minutes. No wonder this is selling for 10g a piece in the AH. -_-

I would rather pay 500g a stack for this than farm it. By far the hardest and most annoying herb to farm.

Blizzard, I hope to see a definite spawn density increase on this herb. You can only FARM it in Vashj'ir, because in other places it says it's at, there's maybe 2 to 3 of them in that entire area. And even in Vashj'ir, there's not much. If you're going to put an herb in one spot, and that spot happens to be a giant ocean, be sure to raise the spawn density a ton.

A couple things to note about this lovely herb, and it's counterpart Stormvine (for us Vasj farmers)-

Stormvines are always found near plantlife, whereas Azshara's Veil is more than likely going to be in the middle of nowhere on the ocean floor.

Also, RoboNoobs lovely map is a genius place to farm such herb if it's not being overworked. A couple things to note about RoboNoob's map though; The area he has "greened" out to the north is where I find a nice chunk of my Azshara's Veil (next to annoying mobs) - Add that to your path. Also, if you're like me and get tired of grabbing Stormvine because you're there for the sole purpose of getting this beautiful, beautiful herb -- then avoid pathing below L'ghorek (as there are only Stormvines here, 90% sure)

UNLESS of course you're a BM hunter. Below L'ghorek is where you will find Ghostcrawler- If you're out there farming you might as well make sure to be in a BM spec incase you find him for easy taming. He is lvl 85 and he is immune to traps and such.

Sorry for my sarcasm, I hate farming this herb.. so as such, I'm being very sarcastic when I say such lovely things about it. :D

Also, I'd like to hope that farming these herbs in TB is a better option (in off-peak hours maybe?) However, in my quest to go 80-85 by strictly farming (Other than the quests leading to my seahorse + the Deepholme/Maelstrom quest) I am unable to get to Tol'Barad yet to say. Will get back to you when I reach my goal.

TL;DR- Stormvines next to plants, Azshara Veil is not. -- Avoid going below L'ghorek if you strictly want Azshara's Veil

If you swim fast or walk on water, Tol Borad Peninsula has some in the rivers and by the pirate cove in the water

I never find any Azshara's Veil near Wellson Shipyard or Rustberg Village in Tol Barad Peninsula..
I do however find alot in the small "river" that separates "Darkwood" from the rest.. and alot in Cape of Lost Hope :)
30'ish every 10-20 minutes if im alone :)

There also appears to be quite a few of these in the more naga-populated parts of Shimmering expanse. I saw about 4 herb-tracking dots. But when I searched the ocean floor, I only found a few naga, who weren't happy that I was trying to pick the flowers in their backyard.
I don't know wheter it's just my druid's myopia or it's really a bug, but I found it annoying. After swimming a few times back and forth between the dots, still not finding what they were supposed to be marking, I decided to search the herb elsewhere.
Does somebody else have this problem?

EDIT: Ok, for those who do have the same problem: the naga build on different 'floors'. If it's not where you look, it's probably on a rock above or under you. -_-

I raised a farmer, and I can tell you i haven't found jack sh** in abyssal depths. NOW. I'm not sure if that's because you have to do quests to unlock the areas more or w/e..but as for spawns..rand entire length of area many times over..adter breaks and coming back. ) zilch. /who.. nobody, ever.

It appears that they added this herb to the fishing tables, much like Volatile water. I fished up three while doing a Sagefish run in Twilight Highlands

This is my favorite herb because its an ingredient in the good old Potion of Illusion. I farm Told Barad for this, since the waterways where it's found are all linked. Pretty easy to cover and collect for this herb as a Druid.

I just fished up 8 in Uldum - not as herbs to gather, I'm not a herbalist, as a fishing drop from fathom eel swarms. I fished slightly over 3 stacks of eels, so about 70 casts, and pulled up 1 or 2 Azshara's Veils every 15 casts or so on average. I didn't even notice I was occasionally pulling up two - I was only going for 5 to level alchemy. This took a while, but the volatile water and the fathom eels should get me about 500-600g. It would have been far cheaper and quicker to just earn enough to buy the Azshara's Veil.

Uldum failed me for Azshara's veil searching...onto the next one :D I tried farming it from herbs and fishing for it.... hope it works at the next spot!

Azshara's Veil is picked up by Fishing in the Twilight Higlands ...
I caught Azshara's Veil in Schools of Deepsea Sagefish along with some Algaefin Rockfish and Volitale Water...
The drop rate is very low this way but I was fishing for Deepsea Sagefish anyways...
I caught 87 Deepsea Sagefish and got 9 Azshara's Veil along with 10 Volital Water ...
I was Fishing the Coast line in Twilight Highlands up next door to Badlands... Not to say that I caught them next to Badlands ,,, saying the Twilight Highlands in next door to Badlands ,,, LOL ... :)

I'm not sure why there's a screenshot with a bunch of locations for Azshara's Veil in Uldum. I looked through the coastal regions where the coordinates say the herb should be located but the only type of herb I could find is Whiptail around the marshy areas. This page should be updated with more accurate information.

ive been up and down the coast of twilight highlands for an hour and havent seen one azshara's veil.

I just farmed the river route in TB on my PvE server (Azjol-Nerub) with nothing more than 3 Water Walking Elixirs (2 ruined by Tank) and a couple Blinks here and there for about 25 or 30 minutes and I ended up 52 Azshara's Veil. I'm going to try the same method (only without the elixirs) in Uldum now and see how they compare. I might try Vashj'ir as well if I can figure out where I stopped the beginning quests there.

EDIT 1: Well, Uldum didn't work out. As it turns out, there was a pain in the ass Night Elf Hunter lurking about and she got all the herbs before I could. I got approximately 2 Azshara's Veil from fishing a Fathom Eel Swarm...heading to Vashj'ir now. Hopefully my luck will be better under da sea.

Would just like to point out that although the map defaults to uldum thats only because there are more nodes. If your really looking to farm this fast then your safest bet would be Tol Barad Penninsula by the way of a water walking spell/potion. The nodes spawn much faster than in uldum and it is more tighly packed together.

Everyone Keeps talking about Tol Barad Peninsula as the place to go to farm these, so I went there to check it out. Didn't do very well. From what few nodes there are, I was only getting about three unpicked nodes per cricuit. So I did a little more research and decided to try Vash'jir. I did much better. In 30 minutes I had 84 Azshara's Veil and 89 Volatile Life. So keep going to Tol Barad....I found my farming spot.
