I was trying to farm this recipe for some time from Stratholme. Then I thought to check my guild members blacksmithing recipe lists through the guild profession tab. Turns out a lot of people knew the recipe, as it used to be learned from a trainer. So if you want the weapon, check your guildies before you start farming the recipe yourself.
