This is for alliance to get the key to searing gorge, which allows for a shorter way in from Loch Modan. Since horde have the city in Badlands, I doubt they have an equivalent quest.

Its for a shotcut in to Searing Gorge...you can still go in the long way through badlands

You have to walk in anyway. Once you are there, you get the flight point, so why would you want a key? Just fly in and out.

Because there was a time that no flight points were in Searing Gorge or Burning Steppes =)

71,74 in Searing Gorge

I soloed it as a holy specced pally lvl48. It wasn't easy, but I got it the first time.
After you get the horn, right click it, take it to mountaineer peeblesomething, at the searing gorge entrance from loch modan (valley of kings). Then you'll have to go to the curator in IF and back to peebledingdong to get your key.

48 hunter easy as pie, pet lost maybe quater of hp(cat) and i used maybe half my mana never had to heal first try.

For some reason the mob won't drop this for my level 70 char. Might be some level restriction or something, since I haven't done this quest before. Meh, I want all the keys. :l

As a 46 Lock in fairly average gear, I decided to party up with my christmas gift Mechanical Greench....
Send Succubus,
Let Greench run in,
DoT and nuke with Shadow Bolt.
Accept quest, and the rest is history.
