to be sure your exalted. open your character info(where it shows all your gear)and go to the bottom reputation tab. go down to where it says thorium brotherhood. if its a green bar that says exalted, then your exalted. as of right now im only honored and hoping to become exalted soon :)

Does anyone know where and how you can get the bar for SULFORON bHAMMER and once you get the mace what or how do you upgrade it to legendary mace.(don't remember the name, its called sulfornn's hand of something!

So basically i just need to kill golemagg when in MC with my guild and get the sulfurion ingnot and just take it to the Bar in Blackrock Depths and hand it to the guy of the thorium dudes and he will give me the item (even if im not freindly with him?) to take back to the main thorium place right? plz reply as im farming loads to get money for all the ingredient later and i dont want to waste my time if i can't get the plans.

Ok, both my friend and I tried to get this contract with the Sulfuron Ingot in our inventory. He's neutral and I'm revered, both of us were able to get the 'contract'. He's engineering so it wouldn't be of use to him but that just shows that you don't have to be blacksmithing to get the plans but obviously you have to be to make the item. Nothing drops that starts a quest all you do is talk to the guy in the BRD bar when you have a Sulfuron Ingot in your bag and he has an option like, "omfg what is that yo bag? I want it" then you go through his chat and he'll give you the contract. Got it? Good.

Whoever said that getting that legendary Hammer was easy is insane. You are either going to need ALOT of cash, or alot of free time, because the amount of Arcanite bars you need is rediculous.

Haha. Man you guys are going on and on about how easy and how hard it is. Please if you don't have Sulfuras hand of Ragnaros, then please go and get it to see how hard it is first hand. First of all, I am a weaponsmith lvl 60 orc warrior, it was not that hard to get the supplies to make the original hammer, plus I have an alt how can transmute so I farmed the stuff then sent the stuff over to my alchemist to make arcanite. Realy easy, I spent only 200g on making the hammer. Second, you don't have to be in a guild to get the eye of sulfuras. I whent in there with a group of my friends and they let me have it. Just team with friends not guild. Third, you guys have been saying stuff about having reputation, well you dont need to be anything in order to get it, just dont be under neutral rank with them. Plus the hammer will destroy even the toughest warrior.

It's a bind on pickup weapon.. meaning that you have to have BS skill 300 yourself to get it.

the first hammer you need is NOT bop- just get it from the ah or a bud or sumone. THEN go to w/e the hell u need for the eye then combine the 2 and POOF POOF POOF Ragnaros!

i got this with one of my alts(arms warrior), it was not so hard... even the eye of sulfuras droped on the 2nd time i was there with the warrior... making the epic thing costed only some time for collecting the arcane crystals, and dark iron bars(lucky me im minning), i gave the acrane crystals and the thorium bars to my main char(300/300alchemy) transmuted them and VOALA... the other things were just some more molten core runs and spending a total amount of 53 DKP

For who said the hammer is BoP so that means u MUST be 300 blacksmith,u're wrong. It's the EASIEST to make the hammer and get the eye yourself, but u can still get the plans and give it to a friend and give him mats to make it or pay him for the mats to make it then he gives ya the BoE hammer, u get the eye and badda-bing badda-boom! U GOT SULFURAS GRATZ U LUCKY GUY!

OK your all annoying me now. All you need to do is have
1. 300 blacksmithing (otherwise its pointless)
2. 1x Sulfuron Ingot
3. Be either, Neutral, Friendly, Honoured, Reverd
Exhaulted it does not matter.

Then you go talk to Lokhtos Darkbargainer in BRD. He will give you the plans and bobs your uncle, fannies your aunt you have the plans.

You turn in a sulf ingot and get plans for sulf hammer. Thats the quest above.

OK!
First do all the Quests in SEARING GORGE that is all thorium brotherhood there when you fly in via bird! That will raise your faction!
Then the guy closest to flight path under the tent gives repeatable quests incendasaur scales and kingblood, iron and 1 other I believe?
Then after you reach Friendly he gives another quest for turning in the dark residue! So do that til honored!
Moving on you need to get to the bar in BRD and the guy is in back on top floor. You need to turn in stacks of 10 Dark Iron ores, Fiery Cores, Core leathers and a few other quest items!
I turned in 600 Dark Iron ore and got 3520in faction. So I figure you have to do this 3 times over just to get to revered haha Good luck getting to exaulted that is gonna suck! But it does give you access as Smith to all the Dark Iron Epic patterns. Good Luck with your adventures!

you need exhaulted reputation with the thorium brotherhood and the guy in the bar in BRD sells it to you i believe

YOU MUST BE EXALTED.. then and only then will he offer a quest called a <? contract> after you accept quest you receive the contract.. once you read the contract it tells you to gain favor among the brothers you have to bring him a Sulfron Ignot 10% off of MC boss. one that is completed he gives you the Plans: sulfron hammer.

seems to me as if you need to get exualted rep with the Thorium Brotherhood and then the guy in BRD sells you the contract. and i belive you can increase your rep by turning in Dark Iron Resadue ( Amung other things ) to the guy in the Bar in BRD. These are repeatable quests so just keep doing it till your exaulted, then buy the Contract. Give him a sulfuron Ignot and get the Recipie, make the hammer, than get the legendary drop off Ragnaros and you know have yourself a Legendary =)
