I tank as a feral Dru'

My max defense in leather? 350. I have a crap ring that I can replace with something that has better defense and get more, I just haven't taken to farming Nagering or whatever the ring is yet.

My max health? 7k. 8k raid buffed.

My AP? little over 600. I can get more if I tried.

My armor? 11700 unbuffed. 12k raid buffed.

No, I dont get as much for dodge, no I don't have block. I tank quite a bit in the Core, I tank quite a bit in ZG. I've tanked in AQ20. We haven't done much with BWL or AQ40 but I don't see why it should stop when they have *even better* gear in there for tanking.

That said, still don't think I'd take the shoulders for anything other than the resists.

druids dont suck up nature damage in the huhu fight.
rogues do. these have more NR than any leather spaulders in game.
NR set > mediocre druid main set.

Feral Druids swarmed this didn't they. You know why these shoulders would be wanted by anyone? NR.

Has nothing to do with tanking, idiots.

Just cause it has spirit on it? It has low armor, so that knocks that stat out. Rogues and Druids, though it should go to rogues first. Tanks get heals, other melee can get heals but it is best they resist as much as they can so they DON'T need heals.

Use your brain sometimes, it won't hurt.

why does having spirit on it make it the obvious choice for bear tanking druids. they don't exactly use that spirit if they're in bear form for the duration of the fight.

For you who diden't see but, these shoulders got a low amount of Armor, and is it a good pair of tanking shoulders just cuz it has stamina and spirit? No, these shoulder should only be used fo Rouges NR, nothing else.

Druids are healingbots, not tanks!

My druid tanks in raids...with 12.8k armor and 370 defense. He dpses when called upon with 1300 AP (raid buffs) and heal also when i have to. It's called a hybrid for all u mildly slow ppl who dont understand the concept versatility and have tunnel vision. The rogues in my guild love their feral druid/hybrid (me), maybe all you classes need to stop hating on each other and being so dam ego-centric (o0o big word for all u kiddies..stop thinking of urselves)and being greedy.

Now on the subject of these shoulders, AS A FERAL id say rogues first, then if u got a furry tank pass em to him, but the chances of you or anyone else farming a world boss are slim to %^&* butkus.

Ok, ppl need to learn that yes druids can tank, but they should not need to if a war is there. im a rogue so i take no sides btw. feral is not as important in raids because druids can HEAL, rogues and war's cannot heal. in my guild we have a feral druid, personally i think hes amazing. he picks up adds in a second when a war goes down and he can get pretty high in the dps charts if he wants to but he is also a great healer. the thing that pisses me off is when your in a party with a feral druid, close to death and he continues to dps. as long as feral druids are not *!@#ing retarted and know they have to heal every once in a while there a great asset. also, feral druids need alot more gear to match there respective classes, rogues and wars for dps/tanking which is why there not as usefull sometimes and only well expierenced guilds can afford to give away dps and stam gear to druids.

first off, druids make great GREAT additions to any raid or party. I say this because, Druids are the MOST versatile character in game, not limited to healing, tanking, spellcasting, or added dps, (each in a respective form of its own or just caster form), so if played properly a druid is a perfect asset, and if tanking a druid CAN drop out of bear form (iim horde BTW) and drop a war stomp, helping when he is crowded :) then tranquility, thus healing and tanking, he can cat dps, then if he takes agro, jump out, drop an HoT on himself, and go bear form to take the heat....so eat it

Got them last night (60 hunter), all rogues passed. Really nice nature res for the upcomming AQ.

Ummm I definitely wont pass if these drop...thats alot of NR that melee classes should be getting before ranged/healing...its pretty rediculous not to make ur melee take this (like Fireguard Shoulders)

Rogues that pass on this are just retarded. Other than this, the best shoulders for NR are the Phytoskin from Mara. I'm a rogue and would LOVE to have this. The only time ive killed Taerar, tho, i got the Nightmare Blade. I can't complain about that tho
