Sad thing is, it's not an item that can be gotten anymore. Was a drop from a boss that only existed in the Invasion of the scourge event that happened with patch 1.11 was released. Unfortinatly when that event ended, so did the bosses presence that dropped it.

Not a bad wand for a Warlock or Shadow Priest. I managed to grab this sucker today for my priest.

Found off the new boss in Razerfen Downs, who looks like a normal person in one of the pens near the escort quest. Freeing her will change her into a ghost woman type-deal and proceed to cause a ton of damage on your tank. Our 43 pally took a beating (Also, he didn't have his shield on, sigh) from her. She also drops a nifty caster cloak that a mage took on my first encounter with her.

If you're a shadow priest and you get your hands on this, there's no reason to take Woestave for your level 50 quest, unless that 1 extra damage and 5 stamina are that meaningful to you.

Can someone plz find the real droprate... 1 of 1 can be luck.. I where there, and it didnt drop =).. Nice wand though! Ill surely go to RFD again..

i believe it's gone now....ive ran rfd 10+ times now looking for her and that wand and shes not there anymore :(

Where is she exactly, i look around where we get the escort quest, and nothing...

Where can I find her? Or what do I have to do to make her appear?

Its gone, confirmed it today, no longer is she in any of the pens.

Too bad the Invasion is over on our server and so are the mobs that came with it. Starting a priest is worth talenting to a shadow priest, and also need a good wand with shadow damage on it to conserve mana. Unfortunatelly there are not many wands like this you can get in the game. There are only a few superior wands you can get early in the game where the wand is most needed. Gravestone Scepter at lvl 18, Necrotic Wand at lvl 30 dropping off a rare mob, this wand at lvl 36 if was still in the game, Woestave at lvl 50 but many ppl would get Blessed Prayer Beads instead of the wand and some other wands off rare mobs at lvl 50-51. The problem is, that there is a huge gap between lvl 36 and lvl 50. Plus it makes them harder to get, because most of these drop off rare mobs. I think Blizz should really put a new superior shadow dmg wand into the game maybe at lvl 42 as a quest reward if not more, cause priests already suffer a lot soloing compared to other classes.

Actually there isnt too bad of a wand from Mara, it's the Noxious SHooter which is 46, I think it's off Noxxion. would make sense. Any way good luck happy hunting!

Discipline spec is awesome...im level 32 and i can take on 3 level 33's at a time without too much trouble. It just takes a lot of mana. Discipline spec is fantastic because you have a spirit buff. 15% mana regen while in combat is nice too. I'll be healing in SM and lots of times ill come out of a fight with full mana or very nearly full mana. Having the spirit buff also allows for going full intellect on gear. I have over 2900 mana with no buffs...WOOT. And when im not healing a group im doing damage to the mobs with my wand. That's where the 25% more damage with wands comes in handy. I heal as good or ALMOST as good as a holy priest because i can outlast them mana wise. And if i run out i got 15% regen so it's coming back anyways. Any class is good as long as you know what you're doing.

at lvl 37 there is a wand that has better dps, but nothing for shadow spells, its called Jaina's Firestarter.

My undead priest is leveling so fast and does it so easily with shadow spec its laughable. Is there any other class that can do damage and heal at the same time (and also healing everyone in a group including pets). and yes i have no down time thanks to Spirit Tap and spirit gear

Some posts from June - July 2006 on thottbot indicate this item was only in game during the scourge invasion, and Lady Falther'ess is no longer in the game. wowiki also says she is no longer there as of 8/1/2006.

Can anyone confirm?
