Only the Doomwarder captains drop them, not the doomwarders.

Good drop rate from Captains. Almost every kill. Doomwarders was about 1 in 10 - And Aztheroc dropped some too :)

logically theyd drop off ordinary doomwarders too, but ive killed about 6 and no drop

The blood doesn't drop off the regular Doomwarders. There are a bunch of Captains in the building across the river, enter at Cosmos coords 52,82.

Are you sure it drops off doomwarders? I've killed about 20 normal Doomwarders and nothing yet. The quest also asks for Felhunter brains (8 kills, 8 brains) and nightmare? wings (10 kills, 10 wings)

seems a little odd that doomwarder strike rate is 20 kills, 0 drops

drop rate is gotta be closer to 100%. ive got one off every single doomwarder captain i killed

According to the quest, the blood is supposed to come from Doomwarder Captains or Lords. It looks like the Doomwarder Lords were never implemented or were removed before patch 1.12, hence their absence in Classic.

I wonder what was going throught the head of the person who designed this. Like at any given time there are like at max 2 mobs that spawn that drop this (not counting the elites).
