You just have to kill the owlbeasts in Hinterlands and then use the Muisek Vessel on the corpse to capture the Muisek. Goes along nicely with the Natural Materials quest from camp Mojache.

The quest states "The vicious, primitive, or savage Owlbeasts are your targets. Kill 10 and use the muisek vessel to shrink and capture them before their spirits escape." 36,51 is as good a place as any to find owlbeasts. The key is using the muisek vessel on their corpse.

Any of the 3 types will work. Just use the drum on the dead corpse.

Cygax it spot on. Read what they added and read the last sentence of the quest and forget the rest:kill Primitive or Savage Owlbeasts and use the drum over the corpse.Good luck!

You kill a Owlbeast in HINTERLANDS, then target it and use the Wildkin Muisek Vessel on it. Then you'll recive a Wildkin Muisek

was wondering why this didnt work ... was killing the owlbeats but didnt loot everything cause my inv was full and id use the drum and thought the quest was bugged cause the quest was still 0/10 but the corpse left, along with its ham or w/e it was that i thought the drum tried to loot for me when it said Inventory is full. .. lol
so yeah, it helps to have inventory space when you do this and also beware, the drum wont loot the ham for you so if you use the drum first, no ham for you! :D

*ps- how do you get coords? is it like a command or something? ty..*

Just kill a "Primitive Owlbeast" in The Hinterland, they are everywere, it like big reds birds. kill them, then target the dead "Primitive Owlbeast" and use the "Wildkin Muisek Vessel" and then you have 1 "Wildkin Muisek"
Hope you can use it .

The thing with obtaining the muisek is you must re-target the dead owlbeast after you loot the body. Once you have the dead body targeted, then you can use the drum thingie to collect the muisek.

I've killed Owlbeast after Owlbeast (Savage mostly) but still have not found the Muisek! Does it still exist?

You must use the drum thing on the dead owlbeast to collect the muisek.
