Well the guy won't give me the quest, hes given it to all my friends just not me. I'm guessing there is a prequel before he will give it to me but what? My friends said i needed to kill the orge, however he is part of the quest garrek gives if you are able to talk to him, which i am not.

Anyone tell me what i need to do first?

WEll garek is near the back door of uldaman and near where the black weplings are and to get the quest u have to do 2 quests. the first one u have to go to Prospector Ryedo and do his quest its only 1 quest and the reward is a free firey enchant its preety sweet. then after u finish that quest u have to do the quest that Sigrun Ironhew gives u. he is right next to prospector ryedo. the quest is u have to find a crate wich is in a orge camp. the org camp is also near the back entrence of uldaman i think it is called camp gosh but i am not sure, then after u finish that quest he gives u another quest the quest is to get 7 scrap medals from the ogres near the hord base in badlands u have to go in the cave where there are lvl 40-44 ogred some of them have 2 heads. after u fininsh that quest go to garek and he will have a ! above his head get the quest tremors of earth or what ever it is called and do the quest and ur set. well i am glad i could help cya

Wow, it took me about 70 kills (also judging from sking) to get the heart. Oh well, gained a level and made some decent money.

Though he's an Alliance-only quest giver, he is NOT hostile to Horde...

I don't think he's a blood elf yet .... maybe in the expantion theey'll give make him lood blood elf like because at the moment they all look cheap and taky for the graphics on the game

I believe, that he is the protege of Krasus (Korialstasz) a Red Dragon. Korialstrasz is Alexstrazsa's mate . Alexstrasza is the queen of the red dragons

I found him,all is ok but i cant get quest... I saw a guy who wears it at lvl42 and he sais its lvl40 quest...I tried to get it with lvl42 and i cant!Please,tell me,what's the catch?:P

Its alli AND Horde, Im 38.. Cant take it, so went on my 47 rogue and he cant take it either.. Meh, only went for the chest. Pain in the Garek

62.54 and its a Bloodelf (changed skin since BC come out) so he no longer have that blue/black dress, he now has a black/red/yellow Robe and a big ponytail

To take what dasquirrel said and make it more succinct:
1. Prospector Ryedol: A Dwarf & His Tools. Accepting this one quest leads to the ones that follow below.
2. While doing that quest, grab A Sign of Hope from the scroll lying on the ground near a table at the camp that is located on the right rim of the dig site.
3. Upon completion of "A Dwarf & His Tools, Sigrun Ironhew will have a yellow "!" above his head, opening up Mirages.
4. Turning in "A Sign of Hope" opens up A Sign of Hope, which is an Uldaman instance quest.
5. Turning in of "Mirages" opens up Garek's yellow "!" above his head for Tremors of the Earth.
