Currently only obtainable after reaching specific pvp rankings, on the release of patch 2.0.1 these will no longer require a pvp rank but instead you will use Honor Points and Battleground Marks as a form of currency to purchase the items.

This is a very good set of armor worn by a lot and to me and considerable amount of others a good set of armor and can do good when whole set is aquired.

I have 5749 HP unbuffed with this set on, 100hp on legs and +7 stam on boots, very nice. Thanks Blizz!

Its nice.. i hope more ppl will go PvP because of this :D

I would claim that it is actually better than then BWL gear u can get.. ofc not better for tanking.. but who wanna tank? ^^

This gear is actualy great for the warrior who wants ot save Hundreds of DKP points on stupid ass pieces like Helm of Endless Rage, Drake-Talon Paldrons, and the like. The mish-mash of plate loot you have to wait through on raids is rediculuse for the DPS Warrior (If your in a guild that actualy gears DPS warriors). Saves your DKP so u can spend it on Might for OffTanking.

The PvP suit as a whole is much better than all those plater DPS drops you can find. Outside of non-set items your really set on gear DPS wise. You would want to pick ip an Onslaught Girdle for a belt and then u have a wide choice of Raid loot you can bid on (glad u saved that DKP now arn't ya?)in a varity of Raid instances. Your pretty much a pre-made, epiced-out DPS warrior who any guild would want in there ranks (unless the ppl in charge of the guildknow absolutely nothing about a warrior). I have begun to pvp for this suit and w/ 1.12's PvP changed ppl will be able to gian Grand Marshal in alot shorter time then before. I think more ppl will pvp due to this and the same facts can be said abut ANY of the Epic PvP suits being > Tier 1 gear. Tier 2 has set bonuses I think are more usefull, but only in raids, not in pvp for the most part.

Does anyone know for sure if you have to maintain the ranks associated with the pieces to wear them? I had a problem once with the Insignia, I played my alt for a month, when I came back I had gone back a rank and could not equip it. If you have to hold the rank of field marshal to wear the whole set, what good it is to pay for it? Now that I'm rank 8, I'm shooting for this set.

I know everyone has alts...I have a few and spend some time on them as well, so if that means by not doing PvP with my warrior that I'll lose the ability to wear this armor it doesn't seem worth it and to me it seems like it might be more worth it to wait in a raid grp for some gear that doesn't require a rank. Either way, my goal is still to see field marshal at the least.

Thanks guys! That's the info I was looking for. Now it'll be easier for me to buy the items knowing I can use them if I let my rank fall. I don't know what was going on with the Insignia...but if you guys say it works, I'll trust and move on. =)Thanks for replying!

I am a 60 warrior on barthilas server, thanks to this new honor system to get this gear, and also thanks to me having to have an operation unfortuantly i have been rendered immobile even tho i am only 14 my dad bought wirless broadband for me and i sit bging or watching movies, msn etc all day, and basicly after 1 and a bit weeks i have the legs chest and shoulders which are absolutly awesome, and i highly recommend it for it's high amount of crits, and also i used to be a fury warrior but since they nerfed them in the latest patch i have become an arms warrior which is good.

This suits arms more then fury because of the low to hit, although this is still awesome for fury because it may how low to hit but bloody awesome crit, basicly u hit a tiny bit less but alot bloody harder. etc etc i recommend this, also my first post, but hoped this healped you, and thankyou for my life story.
