i am lvl 47 but the NPC justs says some words but doesnot vent anything to me, what do i need to buy this bag from him would be very usefull for me.

Talk to an innkeeper...who will send you to the Arch Druid in Darnassus. He wants 20 Un'goro soils, which you give the to NPC behind the Arch Druids' tree. Talk to the Arch Druid again and he sends you to the NPC below him. That is where you get the Evergreen Pouch.

This bag needs 2 Ungoro soil samples.
Every 10 minutes it will produce a shell out of which you get a random herb.

If you are an Alchemist and quest in UnGoro from time to time (eg: Getting the crystals), this is handy thing to have.

bag is unique so you can only have 1 bag at a time.. you get the grain from the same guy that gave you the bag.. the guy right below arch whoever..

I've been using this pouch for a while now, and all it's spitting out are random herbs - no morrowgrain. granted the herbs are nice, since i'm an alchemist, but as a lvl 300 herbalist you'd think i could get it right and produce morrowgrain... anywho - is there some trick to getting morrowgrain to pop out?

I buy a stack of seeds, and when i can i get the soil. sometimes it's in the AH for real cheap, othertimes people in UGC will fork some over if they have any and I ask. I make the casing, open it, and when I build up a stack of alchemy herbs i send it to my druid who when i start playing him I will make an alchemist. When i get Morrowgrain which isnt the most often i go and turn it in for the Cenarion Circle care package and the reputation.

Maybe just my imagnation, but the random herbs seem to be correlated to the map you're in when using the pouch - I get a lot of herbs that actually grow in these locations.

I cultivated the seeds while in Ironforge. the first two times I did it, I got 4 morrowgrain and 2 morrowgrain respectively. I went to Ungoro to get more soil and the first time I cultivated in Ungoro, I got sungrass. If you're having problems getting morrowgrain, try doing it in Ironforge. I can't guarantee but seems to work for me.

For horde:

Use an Evergreen Pouch with a Packet of Tharlendis Seeds and two Un'Goro Soil samples to try and cultivate samples of Morrowgrain.

Here's your Evergreen Pouch that you'll need to use the Tharlendis seeds with. You also need to have Un'Goro soil samples on hand to use as fertilizer for the seeds. Just use the pouch when you have everything; the pouch will take care of the rest.

It's the best way to make gold while you're not actually playing... just set yourself up somewhere safe, use it, set an alarm to go off in ten minutes, go do something else IRL, when the alarm goes off Alt-Tab back into WoW, make another set of herbs, rinse repeat.

Once you're ready to go back to actually playing hit the AH & sell them all.

FAT CASH.

I have no data to back this up, but it seems if you are an Artisan herbalist you get more herbs per herb casing

I am a 49 human lock with Herb/alc

I got this from the tar quest.. Pretty cool item. Got a ton of dirt to use too. I'll test it in various areas to see if that affects it at all.

1st attempt in darnassus gave 5 marrowgrain (next to bearwalker)
2nd attempt in darnassus gave 2 marrowgrain.(next to bearwalker)
3rd attempt in darnassus gave 3 liferoot. (next to bearwalker)
4th attempt in darnassus gave 2 marrowgrain (next to bearwalker)
5th attempt in darnassus gave 1 marrowgrain (next to bearwalker)
6th attempt in Gadgetzan gave 3 liferoot (inside inn)
7th attempt in Gadgetzan gave 2 marrowgrain (inside inn)
8th attempt in Gadgetzan gave 1 kingsblood (inside inn)
9th attempt in Gadgetzan gave 2 goldthorn (inside inn)
10th attmept in Menethil harbor 1 kingsblood (next to griphon master)
11th atteptt in Stormwind gave 4 marrowgrain (inside AH)

From what i've found using the bag in a major city yields marrowtgrain alot more often.

Puls the rewards are mostly nice. You get alot of elixers.

par example:
I got elixer potion (i'm a hunter so nice)
got int potion once.
Got a demonslaying potion to now.
Greater fire res.

and all that stuff

I love this thing. It may not produce morrowgrain a lot, but who cares. It gives you so many herbs its not even funny.

I almost get disappointed when it produces morrowgrain.

Could it be that a Herbalist gets more and better herbs out of this Pouch?

My main is a Skinn / LW and she usually got 1-3 Morrowgrain and herbs like Earthroot, Kingsblood and gererally lower ones on an amount of 1-3.
My alt is Herbalist / Alchemist and gets 1-5 Morrowgrain, generally higher herbs like Gromsblood, Mountain Silversage and the like, on an amount of 3 minimum.

Coincidence or pattern?

I am going to add to Hazkard's post here: Can a druid only get the pouch? I have been trying to get it for some time now, but everyone that I have gone to linked to this pouch won't start any q. Wondering if I will ever recieve this cool little device...

10 minute cooldown? Useless. Doesn't even make Morrowgrain every time. I'm needing to find/make 20 Morrowgrain, and the drop rate for it is horrendously low. I'd have to go over 3 hours' worth of cooldown at the least for make all the Morrowgrain I need.

I am a lvl 47 warrior, but im also an herbalist and alchemist. Is there any way a non-druidic herbalist can get a hold of this pouch. It would be very useful to me, but I seem unable to aquire it. PLZ help.

I've been using this item for months now and it has been awesome. I'm a tailor/alchemist and it has proven to be quite handy. Now that the new cenarian herb bag is out morrowgrain is even more useful to me and is worth more on the AH.

Just reading through these posts... I've never get a single potion from the pouch... ?

I love this thing! I'm an herbalist, and this gives what feels like magic freebie herbs. But has anyone noticed that it seems to produce higher level herbs in higher level zones? I just noticed this today, so totally unscientific - anyone else out there see something like this effect?

Playing on Classic Wow. If I drag the pouch to an action bar, the icon always stays dark like it's not available. Does it do this for anyone else? Makes it hard to see that it's off its cooldown.

One of the best prank/troll items in WoW...use it in instance and your group thinks your are hearthing....then after that long cast you make an herb casing LOL. Love it do it all the time

Worth it to keep around if you go farming in Un'goro a lot like I do. You pick up the soil as you go, and the rewards are decent, more rep, as well as the herbs and potions you can get are a nice little boost to your income. I average about 7-10 g per 10 Morrowgrain. Usually get 20-30 in 5 hours of playtime
