Dropped by the Irontree Stompers and Wanderer's of the Irontree Woods area in Felwood. I'm not sure why WoWhead says it's dropped by Aquementas.

This drops off the Irontree Stompers in Felwood. Once you take it back to the NPC with the 11 Silvery Claws she gives you a pack called Eridan's Supplies that contains the Irontree Heart, Silvery Claws and the Book of Aquor for the next step.

Have to probably stay near the Irontree Woods (are the Irontree mobs anywhere else?)

Drop % is borked because of all the people killing them without the quest. If you do, it should drop pretty fast. If not...make sure you really have the quest listed maybe?

Felpaw Wolves drop the Silvery Claws (lvl 47/48)

Irontree Stompers drop the heart (lvl 52/53)

Drop rate is good if you have the quest.

2nd Irontree dropped the heart.

I pulled 3 stompers and after the 2nd one was dead i already got the drop :D

This is a quest item, which means that it doesn't drop everytime anybody kills it.

Killed a mob thought it would be fun to know the drop rate. seing how bad it was I thought to myself while kiling the next mob "this will be a long night" Guess what happens :P:P it drops :P:P

sorry to all you out there that it took forever, i killed first irontree stomper and BAM heart, kinda amusing seeing as i looked at all the comments and everyone said it took forever

The ironwoods full of those things is at 48,30

Mine droped in like 6 random irontree things slane

this quest is pretty basic. All you have to do is kill some bears and/or wolves. then go to the iron tree woods and kill some stompers. dont get frusterated if the heat dont drop right away it is a rare drop lucky for me i got it on my first kill :)

i killed the wrong mobs.....102 times
when i found the right mobs it was dropped by the 2nd mob

15 or so kills. I couldnt find the wanderes and got it off of a stomper.

First Irontree Stomper I killed dropped the heart, Highborne Gloves, the Irontree heart and it dinged me to lvl 53. lol

That drop rate factors in everyone NOT on the quest killing them. If you have the quest, I imagine the drop rate is infinitely higher....

These are FAR too rare. Killed the trees in Felwood for an hour non stop and didn't get a drop. :(

Those trees are obviously located in Irontree Wood in northern Felwood

Some times this item will remain in your bag after you have summoned Aquementas to get him to create Silver Totem of Aquementas for you.
After you complete the quest Aquementas you can safely delete this item from your bags along with the bag Eridan's Supplies
