Can anyone tell me if you can keep the Silver Totem of Aquementas after completing the "It's Dangerous to Go Alone" quest and receiving the quest rewards? My assumption is that the totem goes away when you turn in the quest.

Can anyone confirm the Totem actually works?

If I use the totem on Blazerunner, I can see a visual change (he isn't all covered in a blueblackish haze anymore).
I don't see an active aura icon or anything on Blazerunner, so I can't see it disappear... also no debuff icon on him after I use the totem on him.

Tried attacking him with and without using the totem, but I seem to do about the same damage.
(as seen in combat log,with or without the totem: Autoshots do 145-155dmg, and bear pet 45-50).

Does the aura only affect spells and other things?

In other words, what SHOULD be different anyway?

P.S. you do lose the Totem after you return the quest. I did still have the , and , maybe you can summon Aquementas again in Tanaris? But there's no point to it really, killing him again without the quest won't give you any good drops anyway.

Everything you do deals 1/10th normal damage against Blazerunner. After using the totem, you can deal normal damage to him.

TAKE all three items OUT of the pack they give them to you in ...

DOH!

I called the GM on this one. I did this THREE times before I finally got the totem. It's buggy: if you don't take the three items OUT of the pack (before you summon Aquementas), he SAYS you have the totem, but you don't actually GET one. :-/

And DON'T let Aquementas kill you either! You get nothing that way. LOL

well, it took me sometime to find the circle of bindings or whatever, once i got there, i did it first try easy quest. just go past the pirate docks and the whole camp, and you'll see the rocks in the sand formed in this retarted ass circle. summon him in there...

Can this be used to remove Pyron's aura?

You need to stay in the circle at 70,49 until he becomes hostile. It is ok to kite outside of the circle after he becomes hostile.
