Guiding Stave of Wisdom just dropped last night from emperor :)
I just put a +22int on it and this baby is ready for endgame :))

Anyone find the item name ironic that this is a stave of "Wisdom", but there's no int bonus to this stave?

I picked this up last night and put a +20 spirit enchant on it. Its amazing how fast I can regen mana now with all that additional spirit.

I have a second staff I use with a total of +29 int on it(green staff with +26 and +3 enchant) I will eventually get a high int staff like trindlehaven and put +22 int on that.

Having 2 staves, one high int and one high spirit is useful. Use the big int staff to start a fight so you have a huge mana pool. Once you burn through a lot of mana and need to stop to regen swap to the high spirit staff and regen. You can have the best of both worlds.

Since holy priests get a bonus to healing from spirit, does that make this an even better way to go with a spirit enchant? If you get 30 spirit on this bad boy, 25% bonus to that from talents as healing, thats another 7-8 +healing, which pushes this up to +60 healing overall, on top of more regen. My priest is only 54 at the moment, just seeing what others are doing with this in the new patch.

I really want this staff for my priest. I went with a lot under holy, and if i got this would put a +20 spirit on it. The regen would be nice, plus the +healing is awesome. Grats to all those who have it already...gotta go get mine now.

Hey,

This staff dropped for me last night on Thorium Brotherhood (53 Holy/Disc priest). I will be using it for mana regen until I get the epic.

this is a kick arse staff for Druids..there prim attribute is Spirit anyway..best to balance between SPI/INT but SPI in the lead always..so quit your whining

1.10 patch updated this staff spirit 29 -> 10 and added +53 healing. Now this is pretty good for healer even at endgame.

i have a druid and i use this staff with my trinket who gives extra healing. i would say its really good even for druids

Why in hell would bliz give this a higher drop rate then LF gloves. i doubt anyone would go threw the hell of gettin to emp to she the %^&* drop, my friend has a 60 priest and he agrees with me that crap like this should drop but not over stuff like LF or other class sets. the worst situation of this is SM2 the cannon master never drops SC (ive done 15 runs on my pally and honestly didnt know they droped off him cuz ive never seen them XD).i understand that we shouldnt just get good items like this easyly, but really now adays its hard enough to get a group together to do this $%^& then have it not drop after killin your way there. thats atleast 2hr

Very nice stave for a priest, with halfway decent stamina, and wonderful SPI.

./e goes off in search of an emperor run to use this for a mana regen stave...

I heard this staff dropped at the emeperor, so I went for a run to him, and he drops it right away, I was so happy I could throw away Redemption :-)

Also the Frost res on em can be really beneficial, even into endgame raiding.

But need to get to Sapphiron first lol
