so he and his caravan are the southern counterpart to the northern one with vendortron,
its actually the same caravan.

1) i found the south caravan waiting @

he got the recipe, and its limited.

before running east, he says he,ll be back in an hour
they shall walk to the east, giving an escort quest. @

How are we (horde) ever gonna hand in 10000 Lean wolf steak if nobody can get the recipe?
been there to look for him many times now... he was never there, unlucky? probably, but it sucks...

the travelling salesman is cork gizzleton and he stopped at 40,79 in desolace talk to the super seller 680 bot and buy the recipe.

I stood there like an idiot and was wondering if they ever were going to show up. And they did!

Basically stay at 40,79 for an hour and you are guaranteed to get the recipe. That is, unless someone else is "camping" the robot.

The robot is very small and when you point it you get a chat bubble icon. When it's there, the lean wolf steak recipe is on the 3rd or 4th page of the stuff he has to sell (it's the last page in any case).
