at ~ 67,47 Lower Wilds is a cage of Sprites that you need the key to open.

You get the key automatically when you accept the quest. The quest is given by Jer'kai Moonweaver at 66,46.

I'm in northern part of Stranglethorn and there is a cage that requires the key...

The spirits will start attacking the bad guys (and vice versa) once freed. And you'll need to make sure six survives.. so it's better to clear the area first, and then get the key/free the spirits before they respawn. Saves you some trouble.

The two nelfs are up on a slope behind the small windmill and behind the tree. across the pool of water, about 10-20 meters away from the cage with sprite darters (close). had to look for 30 min for them even tho i checked location on this site.

The Quest starts with Jer'kai Moonweaver - on the hill just NW of the GrimTotem Camp. If you look up you can see him.

ok, so I was looking around for a bamboo cage key to free the panthers in STV

I came up on this quest from here hoping to get it. Unfortunately once I had the key I had like 5 min to kill the guys and free the lil dragons (darters)

Once I freed them I had to go to Darnassus to claim the prize, (I forget what it was but there were two choices, Mail Pants (it was an upgrade for me at the moment, or something cloth, forget what it was)

Yesterday I went back with a guild member so he could do the quest and to my surprise I found a quest waiting for me there!
Sorry didn't write down the name of it (something about A new family for the baby)

I got an egg, had to take it to the Flats, guy there asked me to bring him 2 Fortitude potions, after that he gave me back the egg and told me to go to Hinter. There I had to get 5 Silvermane Stalker (they are like lvl 48 I think) meat for the baby. After that I got one of those Darters for a pet. (like those kittens, lvl 1 that just follows you arround)

is this the key for a Cage in Kurzens compound!or is it the key to Sprite cages in feralas for a quest! Thats what I want to know!

The bamboo cage key from the sprite darter quest DOES open the cage in the Kurzen compound. You don't get much for it. I opened the cage door, killed the Kurzen, and the tigers that obviously did not want to be freed, and came away with 53 copper. The key disappears. If you want to open the cage again, it's time for another trip to Feralas.

Anyone know the name of quest giver or the quest's name? I looked on as many slopes I could find but no luck. Any info appreciated : )

The quest giver is on a ledge near the cage, just look up. To get there, there's a slope next to a tree JUST outside the camp(if you follow the ledge the quest giver is on). I don't have coords so try and figure it out. I noticed a Darter kinda marks the slope too. :P

Go THROUGH the camp, past the cage to the camp edge marked by the large totem pole and guard. At 65,46 is a large tree (next to totem pole). That is the path (behind the tree). Follow it. It simply goes up and down to a ledge overlooking the camp in the cliff wall. There you'll find Kindal Moonweaver (quest giver) and Jer'kai Moonweaver. Alliance only.
