Don't let the drop rate worry you. It's only that low because people who don't have the quest kill those too.

Just grind the camp at co. 59.59 a few times and i am sure you'll get it within 10 min.

5th kill off a 58 berseker owl beast on the camp right next to the crate. got him in the cave

Yea drop rate is more like 100%...go back to the camp where you first spotte dthe damaged crate, and kill any Moonkin you see around there.

I killed three of the different kinds of owlbeasts that walk around the cave close to Jaron's supplies and it dropped.

ive been killing like 30 of these Stupid blizz that cant make a Quest whit good drop rate

i took one look at percantage and oh no but it took me 3 kills and that was it i did it at vll 55 hunter

Wildkin quest: red ( very hard for my lvl )
got help from lvl 70. found camp, found wagon, got suplies, owned owlbeasts in area and about the 7th owlbeast droped it but the mob who droped it was near that trio cave and not the camp.

I killed over a hundred of the damn owl beasts in both locations and the thing wouldn't drop. I was wondering if this was due to the fact I did the escort quest near there with the girl who makes you light the torches in the cave. Is there any pre-conditions to getting this?

I tried to grind them first, but without results. Then I took the 'Supplies' and the first kill I got the feather :)

If you've got problems, try that.

The drop rate is only extremely low because this only drops if you have the quest. The thousands of other kills this amulet won't drop because the people running wowreader have already done the quest or are not on it.

I got mine off the 3rd owlbeast.

Got mine after first kill. Went in here, saw the droprate, made me kinda sweaty, killen one moontouched and got it. ^^

Err, I don't think it does.

It took me a good few kills to get the drop. You must have just got lucky. :)

Dropped on the first one i killed which was a Berserk Owlbeast. Very happy! Take no heed to the stated drop rate.

got it after 3th kill,and looks like i'm not the only one,the reason why the drop rate stands to bad here is becouse they are much killed without the Q.
