You need to have this equipped for scourgestones to drop from undead. The scourgestones are turned in for Argent Dawn rep.

Unfortunately, it fills up a trinket slot without giving any other benefit. However, it can be replaced with either the Seal of the Dawn (for melee, https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=13209) or the Rune of the Dawn (for casters, https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=19812) which also give bonuses against undead.

You get this commission at either Bulwark (Horde) or Chilliwind Camp (Alliance).

Horde should talk to Argent Officer Garush
Alliance should talk to Argent Officer Pureheart

You need to be level 50 in order to get it.

Also, you can drop it until you are ready to use it if its clogging up your bang space by talking to the little gnome next to Argent Officer Pureheart.

You get it after lvl 50. I picked mine up from the Argent Dawn NPC at Chillwind pass, entering the Western Plaguelands. By wearing it, you collect scourge stones from the undead in the Plaguelands and thereby increase your reputation with the argent dawn.

Edit: I had to do a quest to get it. And I may have done the quest at 49. I don't remember.

It does not boost your faction. It gives you an effect called Argent dawn commission, which allows undead in the plaguelands to drop scourgestones, which you can turn in for valor tokens which will raise your faction with Argent dawn, once you hit friendly, then you can begin to buy goods from their quartermaster.

I just hit friendly, and so far all I can purchase is 5 enriched manna biscuit for 80silver. IT restores 2148 health and 4410 mana over 30 sec.

Will check other places as well.

Apparently when you hit honoured with them, you can also buy soulbound alchemy recipes from them.

At level 50, you can recieve a quest from Courier Hammerfall, a wandering dwarf in Ironforge. He sends you up to Chillwind to do your Argent Dawn thizzle. Not necessary, but it's a couple hundred extra exp for free.

I got mine at the camp by Chillwind pass, i don't think it's available anywhere else. you get it at lvl 50 or above, i tried at 49 and got the grey icon, came back at 50 and it was rdy. the NPC that gives you the Commision gives you 3 quest types, to hand in 3 types of drops from undead in the plaguelands. they give valor tokens as rewards that are used to boost your reputation with the Argent Dawn. I havent handed in any of the drops yet but from what the quests have told me this is what they're for.

I destroyed my Argent Dawn Commission too =( BUT... I went to Eastern Plaguelands, found the Lights hope Chapel to the east, and spoke to Quartermaster Miranda. She offered me another one! yay!

I heard of another trinket that is an argent dawn commission, but also gives +attack stats. Has anyone heard of this?

You can get another commission just by talking to the guy you got the first one from. Bulwark or Light's Hope.

Argent Dawn Commission allows you to pick up scourgestones in the plaguelands, which you turn in for tokens, which increase your rep with Argent Dawn. The higher in status you get, the more benefits you have. With friendly, you get the mana biscuits and the ability to have your equipment repaired by Argent Dawn. With honored, you can get some awesome food and drinks on top of that, as well as recipes. With revered, you get free enchant to shoulders....your choice of fire, nature, or frost resist, etc.

I rember inspecting some of my pals and I saw one who had an Argentdawn trinket equiped. It was something with spelldmg + and I asked her about it. She said it works like the Argent Dawn Commission (enables collecting the stones) but you have to have a high reputation to get it.

I just can't find the trinket here. Do you know it's name? Or who to get it? Please help me.

You get the quest from a person at the Chillwind Camp (Gryph point).
She just tells you that if you're going to fight for them you have to wear their mark, and she gives you the item free, you don't have to do anything.

You need to be level 50 to get it. You get it from Argent Quartermaster Hasana in Bulwark. Bulwark is located near the entrance to Western Plaguelands from Tirisfal Glades. Coords are 83.68. Hope this helps :)

You can buy a LOT more than just transumte alchemy. They sell a "recipe" for blacksmith, tailoring, enchanting, alchemy, etc ... that you can only get at honored, and another set you can only get at revered, etc...

Also, rep with AD lowers the number of Insignia of the Dawn and Insignia of the Crusade you have to turn in for "Superior and Epic" items at Light's Hope Chapel. Some of the items are worth it. So if you're killing undead in PL it's worth it to be wearing this lil trinket.

What level do i have to be to 'join' The Argent Dawn? Any specific level? Or do i just need to be able to complete a certain quest to join?

nothing will happen except that you will have 2 equiped.

How do you get this item? I've seen tons of people with it equipped, and I understand its high level but the quest links here aren't describing the quest. So what exactly must one do to obtain this?

yes, this raises your reputation with the Argent Dawn, and allows you to purchase special items from their merchants, like food that replenishes both health and mana at the same time.

Obtained at lvl 50+, go to Western Plaguelands and talk to the Argent Officer Pureheart (for alliance) at Camp. If you are Horde go to Eastern Plaguelands and talk to the officer at the camp above Tyr's Hand

To get another Argent Dawn Trinket you talk to Argent Quartermaster Lightspark in the Chillwind Camp at 43,84. He has a line to click if you need another. It appears in your inventory.

It lets you loot scourgestones from the various mobs throughout westeren plaguelands, when you turn a special amount of these you get a raise in your reputation, but it has no real effect from equipping it.

I once saw a guy who had a better version of this one which had basically the same effect but also some bonuses... Anyone knows what item that is? I can't find it here but I don't remember what its name was...

The scourgestones can ONLY be collected while wearing this.

The NPC's quest for the scourgestones lists 3 different types.

The low lvl mobs 51-55(ish) drop stones that require 20 to get a valor token

The mid lvl mobs 55-58(ish) drop stones that require 10 for a token

The HIGH lvl 59-? drop stones that can be turned in as just one stone!

you gain reputaion with the argent dawn and when your friendly you can buy leet items. the scourgestones on the other hand are hard to get i kiled like 50 guys and got like 15 stones . gl n hf

You just have to be lvl50 or above to get it and talk to the Argent Dawn Captain at Chillwind Camp in the Western Plaguelands.

I talked to Argenf Officer Pureheart at chillwind Camp (lvl 70 Demon Hunter), but he only sent me "Into the Woods" (quest). Nothing to buy. So I guess I have to travel with Fiona for a while to build up some rep...
