I think this sword is really nice, nice stats for warrior or retribution pally. I found one in Felwood from one of those timbermaw type mobs, sold it for 50g so was well pleased.

I enjoyed this bad boy from level 44 to level 50 or so.
Great stats, fantastic speed (like it slow when using a 2 hander for soloing due to the increased damage) and I personally like the looks of it.

In the picture I have demonslaying enchant on it though. Not a good enchant in any way but I think it improved the looks of the blade even more with it's colors and since I got the enchant for free... well, I couldn't say no to that.

The previous post, aside from being illegible, is also clearly incorrect. The stat bonuses on the Blade of Titans are enormous, and, more importantly, they are constant whereas the damage bonus on the Stoneslayer is chance on hit. Now, suppose the Stoneslayer does do the additional damage of 10 dmg/hit for 8 seconds; with a speed of 3.9 you can only put out 20 extra damage. Assuming the proc rate per minute was 6 (as it is for fiery), the damage bonus would only add 1 to your dps. And even if the + damage was constant (which it most clearly is not), it would still only amount to a sword with an extra 2.5 dps and NO other stat bonuses.

The Blade of Titans, on the other hand, offers a constant 1.4 additional dps in addition to the +24 stamina bonus which throws a very useful 240 hp on your shieldless 2H wielding warrior. Throw a fiery enchant on this thing to curb its unappealing aesthetic qualities and you have yourself a killer sword for a 45-50 warrior.

In addition, I think its safe to say that nothing is free in WoW. In the case of the Stoneslayer, we have a sword that drops 11% of the time from a boss that not only takes time to get to but has been known to wipe a group now and again. It could take hours or even days to get everything to click to make this sword happen and even then you could lose the roll or have the weapon ninja'd by the 'quiet' guy in the group. That is time that could be spent grinding on <insert mob here> and saving gold to purchase, for instance, the Blade of Titans. Either way, everything in this game takes time - nothing is free.

Got mine for 20g on Kirin Tor. Normally goes for 50-70g. And my fiery only cost me 16g. All in all a great deal. Alliance PvP'ers beware!

got this when i was 48 from a chest in the hinterlands put a +5 damage on it and gave it to a war mate of mine. then at level 53 got it again out of a lockbox

I picked mine up off a lvl 48 Northspring Harpy in northern Feralas. Got it on my 3rd kill, and got another 2 days later after an hour of grinding. Lucky for me, I am a rogue, so I'm making bank :)

This sword is really ugly, like other says, but it gets actually kinda cool with fiery enchant.
Because of the orange color, the fire glow makes it really looks like it's in flames.

Why does anyone even want this thing? Only the +Sta is good... DPS wise it I think there's a better weapon at that lvl range for players to obtain.

Hey I paid 30 gold for this sword at the Auction! I find it very nice! Plus someone enchanted it with Demonslaying and it looks even nicer now! And lots of people tell it's such a nice sword too. Although I hope they weren't just trying to be nice...

Not bad DPS, but... it's ugly, and the stats are lack lustre, aside from the INCREDIBLE boost to your Sta. An extra 240 health is always a good thing.

I just bought this today for 40g on my Paladin, and until I get my skill in two-handed swords up, I'm anticipating a great companionship with this baby. My brother got extreemely lucky on his Tauren warrior and bought it off some guy for 5g, and has been using it ever since. Great stats, although if your switching from Bonebiter, you might want to keep that in your pocket at your disposal, since your lowering your strength for a massive amount of stamina. But so far, it looks great, especially on Taurens when its supersized =P

I got one of these and its much better than i thought. My average crit as a 44 fury spec warrior is around 500 - 600 which is very nice and high crits over 700, combine with fury talents such as +30% attack speed and +25% damage it abosultely owns. Nice comments too.

Looks bad, poor dps and crap min/max dmg.
For a warrior, this is pure garbage.

From level 43 you only use the Executioners Cleaver until you get the Arcanite Reaper.

Kang is only marginally better then the cleaver, so it's not really worth the money..

What's with people calling this thing crap? lmao. 24 stamina, 10 strength, and I'd say good DPS. Plus for any sword spec guys out there, me, it's awesome. I had been wanting one for sooooooooooooooo long and then I saw one on the AH and farmed some gold for about an hour and it was mine :) Worth it too. Paid 1g to respec as a sword spec warrior, and my warrior does a ton more damage :)

I have this Sward on my 45 warrior and I think that its fine. Compareing it to Kang is stupid since Kang is an EPIC. The Executioners Cleaver isnt bad no stamina has 23 str and +1 crit. the Attack speed is unfortunate bc of the changes thay made to instant attacks. Also if you're specing is Swards what good is an axe? Just my opinion though

I enchanted this +5dmg, and gave to a warrior in my guild. not everyone has the chance to use a blue, so this was a 200% upgrade from his last weapon, for what its used for, it works.

I bought one for my paladin for 10g, and put +22 intell on it, made it a paladin weapon for my self. I had the money saved, and it was my choice, so when i get to the lvl to use it, i should be just fine.

It will be replacing my nightblade, with +22 intel.

ok this sword is pretty good 24 stamina, 10 strength, and 42.6 DPS aint bad either, this sword is awesome for someone who cant afford Kang the Decapitator, but if u can afford Kang the Decapitator, by all means, buy it

This thing usually goes for 30g, at least on EU-Ravencrest horde. Probably not that big of change on other realms.

Got this today, and I must say I love it. Weapon dmg +7 goes great with it, especially with Sword Specialization (I respecced just because of this weapon). I hear people saying it's ugly as hell, but I must disagree. Apart from the coloring being a bit bland, it looks awesome, especially with a blue glow.

The +24 stamina is something you want. That extra 240 health can really make a difference against those rogues.

It also replaced Nightblade (Nightblade for me. A few DPS more and the +24sta. :)
