I am the proud owner of this beautiful mace. Not only its a great offhand weapon for a rogue, its looks are awesome too.

Just got this mace today..Proc rate is thankfully very low in main hand (had to skill up 150->300) so i guess it rarely ever procs offhand..

I did over 30 runs overall before i got the chance to see it...Can't wait to get dagger.

Soloed Mother Smolderweb three times today trying to get the Wildheart Boots, and the damn mace dropped the two first kills :\
The third time Smolderweb's Eye or something like that dropped.

As listed on thott this mace has a very low drop rate, and ppl also say they've been doing 30+ runs for the mace.. I just dont get how in gods name I had it drop twice in ~40 mins :(

Glad it atleast vendors OK enough.

The rate must have been incrased since 1.10, cause 2 dropped in the same day for me the other day.

This set is for pvp, imo. I got both pieces, and its proc rate is godly... no one will ever run from you again.

The damage bites ass tho ^^

that 0.9 can't be right... I have Soloed him today 5 times and he has dropped Venomspitter 3 times... and saddest thing is that u can carry only 1 of those your backpack...

Yeah I just got this mace drop of the crazy mamma spider. Unfortunately I'm a shammie and it ain't sooo great for me... (there were no rogues in the party) but it's a huge improvement over what I was using at the time. So I'm pretty psyched. Once I enchant it with icey or firey it should be a pretty decent little weapon.

i have this set on my rogue. the set bonus procs a lot. its great for pvp. on end game mobs... it procs about the same, i assume they get the armor reduction, but they don't stay immobilized. i use the dagger in my main hand for ambushing and backstabing mostly and the dagger procs a little less than the set bonus,... and i rarely see the venomspitter proc poison. maybe like 1 out of 10-15 mobs i'll see the mace's poison

Did my first LBRS-run yesterday with some of my guildmates and I got both the mace and the dagger on greedroll. I didnt realize until after we were done that it was a set lol! Dunno if i'm gonna use it tho.

Set: Chance on Hit: Immobilizes the target and lowers their armor by 100 for 10 sec.

The best way I've found to activate the bonus special is to have the weapons in these hands.

Main Hand: Fang of the Crystal Spider
Off-Hand: Venomspitter

The proc goes off ALL the time, its a pvp set, best used by a melee class who hit fast and often, which would be fury warriors and rogues.

If you want this set, try and get it at the minimum achieveable level (56)... any later, and you'll start to notice how bad the damage is.

does anyone know what the sets attributes are? or if it has any? looks like it would be good for combat rougues.. the 5% crit and 6% stun would be ideal for these too.. jus sumtin to think about

Anti-rogue because it can hurt rogues you are fighting, disallowing them to vanish out, and also anti-rogue because it will break the gouges and blinds of any rogue using this set. Unfortunate, because the other two procs are very nice for rogue.

? Of course they can! Non-Warriors should better be quiet if it comes down to weapon knowledge.... I'm not furious, but just remember that WARRIORS can use all types of weapons except Wands....
