This is obtainable every Scholomance run after completing the quest Kirtonos the Herald (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=5384). I believe it is a guaranteed drop from the Blood Steward, Jandice Barov, and Doctor Krastinov. It's unique though, so you can only carry one. It's used to summon Kirtonos the Herald (https://www.wowhead.com/classic/npc=10506) who drops the Boots of Valor.

i know where to use it in scholomance, but dont know where it drops. can anyone help?

it comes out of the bag of horrors u get from step 2 of the quests u get from the chick right outside scholomance... she asks u to kill janice barov and return a bag to her, she then gives u the blood of innocents and tells u to kill the guy that spawns from using it

I guess it is for unlimited use?

So is the blood an unlimited use or is it a one time thing? It seems pretty hard to get the valor boots if it is only one use.

I understand that you can't complete the quest when in a raid, but will the blood drop from Jandice or the Doctor if you're in a raid? I'm guessing no, which does make the Boots of Valor a bit harder to get :(

i was very fortunate to find someone with blood in 2 raid groups and the boots dropped but i lost roll to the other warrior twice. How unlucky is that...IF they dropped again and i lose again i will either payoff the guy not to take or ninja them lol

But if u have the blood and use it in a raid group then the quest aint completed can u take abandon and then get another blood from the quest?

you can use the blood in a raid to summon kirtonos.
once you have the quest (or completed it) the blood keeps dropping for you off krastinov and jandice barov, even in raids. this way you can summon kirtonos again and again.

well actually you can get the blood from butcher.. just run back to him after u kill gandling and loot his corpse.... anyways u need to complete teh quest in order to get the blood again.. just take for first time .. and keep it for next run.. and do the gargolye boss and after that kill gandling and take again the blood from butcher.. about valor? lol yeah ive only seen it dropped once.. boots**

I am total unlucky have been in Scholo 20 times and nothing drop to me of the shadowcraft set my Helm og boots drop in Scholomance and there is 11% at my Boots will drop and it have not drop it yet and i got a quest now where is shall have Blood of innocents and where do i get that ?

Do you need a quest to pick it up? Or just be in a 5-man party?

Ive finished the quest (its long chain) and now Krastinov the butcher drops it 100% we kill him, no matter its 10-man riad or 5-man quest grp. The fact is that it drops only for me - others cant loot it even if i *open* the corpse (dont know what happens if more than one person in grp has finished that q). Now its a good chance to get a skullflame or boots for warrs :)

Anybody know if those 3 mobs drop the blood ever time in a 5 man raid? I've killed the Dr a bunch in a raid, but never seen the blood drop from him.

This really sucks for warriors as we need this blood to summon Kritonos, and get a chance at our Valor boots. It would be alot better if this blood dropped 100% for a party group from those 3 mobs, but I'm not holding my breath ...

my group died against Kirtonos, is it possible to get more blood to try again?

That's right. At least one player in your Group must have finished the quest (you can get it from the female ghost in front of the instance, listen to her story and you'll get the first quest), so you can get the blood in every run. It works in a raid group with 10 players as well. We killed Kritonos for 10 times now, but no valor boots :( Good luck!

I have guildies (Sinner Among Saints on Atiesh) who swear up and down that they've seen this item drop from EVERYTHING in Scholomance.
