This item is one of three items that players who bought the original collector's edition of World of Warcraft can chose from.

Zergling Leash summons a non-combat 'Zergling' that will follow the player around. It occaisonally makes some soft noises but does little more than that.

The Zergling is a unit from Blizzard Entertainment's 'Starcraft' series.

It's a bit frustrating to me to have the annoyances of life reflected in the game as well. No pet zerglings or pandas because you're not rich enough off the game to buy into corporate gaming. A bit insulting really, even if it is just another sceme to line the pockets of corporate execs.

If only I could leave a zergling under their fine, Egyptian cotton pillows.

Yes, god forbid people get extra stuff when they spend extra money on a collecters edition. I mean, who ISN'T losing sleep over not being able to have a zergling?

I didn't pay $90 and wait 8 hours on the phone to get the collectors edition just for a zergling / Mini-Diablo / Panda cub... I did it for the huge box with the extra stuff like the art book with renderings, the extra DVD, and the signed manual, etc.

That's why it's expensive. Not just to get a pet and lord it over everyone else.

Any idea of what he does from time to time ? I saw the panda sleep and make zzz's often , Mini Diablo makes a cool display of flames every 30 min or so . I want to know what this little guy does please .

if you missed the train on the CE of this game, you have to pay out the ass to get it now. its auctioned for 200$+ and that, even for a cool as hell Zerg, is not worth it.
i think that the CE owners should be able to sell these pets to other people who are a little more SANE...

My zergling disappeared around when i was lvl40.

So once you reach a certain lvl, it disappears? That kinda sucks =(

If you own the original World of Warcraft collectors edition then you’ll be able to claim this pet in classic. Just like the old days. Though not during the beta.
