Wow, just looking through things to find out threat percentages, etc and this books effect, has a +10000 threat modifier.

To put it in contrast, defensive stance for a warrior (increased threat) is +20 threat modifier.

Be prepared to be healed when turning this guy...he'll stick to you like glue.

My only problem when using this was that Ras kept knocking my tanks out of range, then chasing them so the channelling stopped. There's no apparent change in threat when using this.

The keepsake stayed in my inventory after doing and turning in this quest. Is there any point to keeping it? Does he drops somehing different as a mortal than otherwise? Or should I destroy it to return a precious bag slot?

Do you ever think to give information about the book, would be a smart thing.. is it a drop a find somwhere ? no rather lets talk all about how the book genarates threat... of course it genarates threat its a frick quest .

you will find this book in the fireplaces inside stormgrand.... it is a pick up not a drop

can be turned into human during fight. takes like 15 seconds to use the book (channeling).

also does fear and throw as human. but further not too exciting.

Who cares about threat. Learn to manage your aggro. I wear cloth an had not 1 iota of problems. I never even had to use my Fade ability, Wait 5-10 seconds for whomever is tanking to really piss him off. It channels for 20 seconds.

I just wanna know if this item is worth keeping after quest is done? I had tried to use it after quest was completed on another run thru. Yet it didnt seem to work. He went thru the same motions of the transformation. Yet never transformed back into human form. Is that normal, or a glitch? Bag space on person or in bank is at a premium. Hate to see space wasted for junk.

considering destroying it, it stayed in my inventory when I completed it so I saved it for a rainy day and a few weeks after bc, I went back with a friend and tried it and twice it didn't work

It's a red book, found mine infront of a fireplace in a no roof house.

Stays in your inventory after completing The Lich, Ras Frostwhisper . Safe to delete once complete!
