It is a flag, located in the little waters south of Northdale. Dive down, pick it up and hand it in. Take care for there are water elementals around.

Its in the very middle of the pool, and looks like a shield.

confirm coords, it's worth noting that for me, the first time i went there the flag was not lootable. went back a few hours later and i could loot it.

so there must be a respawn timer on this thing, so don't give up when u see the flag.

no, there's not a respawn timer on it. it was just bugged. quest items like that can't have a timer otherwise lots of pissed ppl that do quest in groups.

Coordinates correct. Its worth it to clear the pond of elementals, they have a worthy drop rate on essence of water. I got one on the third in there :D!

was searching that pond yesterday, without luck. I noticed an old banner there though, but it wasn`t clickable..

Did this first time round with my Lock, worked a treat.

However, tried it second time around with my Druid.....I was grouped with a friend, after the friend picked it up I wasn;t able to intereact with the banner.

I found this worked.

1) Leave group
2) Abandon quest
3) Let a group member reshare the quest (works even if they have completed it).

You should now be able to click on the banner.

If your not grouped then abandoning the quest trekking back to the quest giver and then repeating will hopefully work.

Just a quick warning for anyone about to do this as a rogue or druid - the Eyeless Watchers guarding Northdale see right through stealth.

Thanks a bunch for the coordinates, and also, the post that said the drop rate on the essences of water is nice here is completely correct (at least for me). I happened to get an essence of water on my first kill. It's a great help towards the 150g for my epic mount.

The flag doesn't drop off of any of the mobs. It's in the lake found in Northdale.

Northdale is in Eastern Plaguelands, just north of Light Hope's Chapel
