Ive killed at least 70-75 over 3 days and only have 11...ive done this after logging in and out for hours at a time...the drop rate is just really low. However, i think if ur a lower level, like 38-39, the drop rate is higher.

The drop rates are very bad for these guys. but I figured out the top 3 dropers Axe Thrower, Warrior, then Witch Dr. The Drop rates are still crappy, and you need 18 so like the other guy be prepared to farm. this 1 best done alone my personnel opinion.

did it with a lvl 38 and 40 warrior in party. got around 130 xp per kill at the lvl 39-41 ones (the easy guys, and it's pretty fast as long and only 1 does execute... the patrols were easy with sweeping strikes/cleave! Took almost an hour to collect 36 tusks, but was quite funny because a horde rogue kept trying to kill us but got owned :D

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! This quest isn't worth doing. I have spent 4 hours now grinding these tusks. I got to 14 after 2 hours, then the drops just stopped coming. I have followed all comments and instructions as to where to farm. Do yourself a favour and move on to another quest.
