One per day. Best chance is right after a server reset (all the inventory seems to reset at that point).

I imagine that on most servers this recipe will spawn in the late afternoon or evening, since that is when most people are on. Unfortunately that also means that a greater number of people who WANT it will also be on.

If this recipe really is a 24-hour spawn, as it seems to be, then unfortunately the best you can do is to simply check the vendor in Marshal's Refuge whenever you are there. Better yet, get your friends and guildmates to check it whenever THEY are there. And by get, I mean beg.

Aside from that obtaining this recipe is mainly a matter of luck. This is a very good item, but sitting at the computer with the vendor window open for who-knows-how-long is something only a madman would consider.

it spawned on general goods vendor when server said 3mins 15sec left i bought it and hopefully it will be there again on restart.

i've checked this for a week, and got straight on after a reset, no item wtf. is this just blizz trying to annoy me i want this recipe grrrr. is there any other way to get it? please?

I got the recipi maybe 3 hours ago. After having checked a few times over the last few days.

Then I just came back now, and he had it again. No server reset, og relog, or anything. Didn't perform dark voodoo or anything either :p

I just bought the pattern from Nergal (General Goods Vendor) in Marshal's Refuge for about 1.8g. It dissapeard after I bought it so I guess It's a rare spawn.

Does anyone know: if I just sit there with the vendor window open and it respawns, will it appear in my window? Or do I need to open and close it?

Got two computers, and was considering just leaving one on the vendor while doing stuff on the other...

I checked for this pattern on my server about an hour after it came back up from Tuesday maintenance, and the pattern was there. I hadn't had any luck the other times I'd checked.

I can confirm that this is at the very least a 12 hour spawn - it may even be less than that.

I logged on early this morning, checked for it, got it. Went to work, came home and logged, checked again, got it ~12 hours later! WOOT!

I have looked all around Marshals Refuge, climbed the mountains as high as possible and checked the coords that someone put on here, and still can't find him! Someone please give me good coords.

Bought the pattern early in the morning, went and farmed the 22 leather for both peices, and about 1-2 hours later I came back and there was another pattern, which of course I bought as well. So the pattern appears to be on a 1-2 hour respawn, although perhaps the respawn time is completely random and may take up to 24 hours?

I bought one early morn on a day off, then I came back a couple of hours later, there was another, now I have 2. :)

I found the second one on Scilla at 4:50ish server time.

Anyone know how often this respawns for selling?

As of Classic WoW, I can confirm that the plans do not have a consistent respawn time. I've peeked at the vendor on and off for 7 hours with no luck (though someone could have easily snatched the recipe from under me), and another occurrence I've bought two recipes back to back within an hour or two.
