Nice sword for rogue, hunter or warrior... or even pally, I suppose. Even better, it's a quest reward so no squabbling over drops, everyone gets it!

If you're a warrior who wants to tank with a sword and you don't have a raiding guild this is just about the best option for you. It's got a good fast attack speed, decent dps, strength and agility. Even better, it's a quest reward from a short, easy questline.

There are better a few pre-raid tanking weapons that are a little better but they aren't swords and they're harder to get.

It's a level 60 quest, it's in Scholomace. The questgiver is right outside of the instance, who first asks you to kill the Butcher, then Jandice, then a third person. After you go in for the third time, and kill the third guy, you can get the reward.

I got my mirah's song couple days ago did all parts @ one run, just get outside and get new parts :) I can say to all warriors go for this, RLY AWESOME tanking weapon! i love this. Added +15strength to it also.

Yes, Mirah's Song is a reward for the Krastinov line of quests given by Eva the ghost outside the Scholo instance. I just received my sword two days ago for completing them all. The other reward for completing this line of quests is a caster offhand held item. You also receive a trinket that lets you talk to the dead in Caer Darrow, and get a few more quests from them. This database needs updating ... Mirah's song does not appear when you do a search on blue swords rewarded for completing quests.

i was confused at first... right outside the entrance of scholo there are 2 persons, one of them u can speak with... listen to her story (eva or something) and after u finish that u can take her quest.

I use this when I'm not fighting undead but I will be throwing it away when I get the offhand dal'rend blade.

i use this and darrowspike for now and like them both..as people say..great until rend drops something for me and both easy to get as they are Q rewards and not 0.0001% drop rate items :P

This is probably the best tanking sword (pre-epic) out there due to speed (despite no +stam). Great for the sword-spec'ed warrior.

This is a nice sword. Finishing up this quest chain makes me want to go back to dual-wielding. I mean, doesn't this sword just SCREAM off-hand weapon? Anyway, in response to the poster about 4-manning Scholomance: Yes it is possible, no the characters would not have to be godly equipped. I went on a run with some guildies one night and one of our players kept DCing, so rather than wait for him we kept plowing through the instance. We had him for less than half the fightsd and we did fine. We even 4-manned Barov after he had disconnected for good. Then our priest left and we 3-manned all the other mini-bosses except the Butcher (resto shaman, rogue, warrior) and had a druid buddy come and help us finish the Butcher and Darkmaster Gandling. Oddly enough, the druid tier 0 headpiece dropped so it worked out pretty well. So in summary, nice sword for offhand rogues or fury warriors, not bad for a tank (could use some stam and a little higher top end TBH), and it's entirely possible to 4-man Scholomance, just make sure you bring a priest along. Mind control and shackle undead make ALL the difference.

Sadly, there are not many quest swords with higher base damage than Thrash Blade, and even though it is a very nice sword imo, its starting to feel a little outdated at 60 :/

this is a great offhand sword for rogues. now just thow a lifestealing enchant on that badboy, cuz this sword will last you a long time.

Well it's a quest most likely as it binds on pick up and has no min level the question is which one.

Gotta do Jandice steps in a 5 man or the stuff won;t drop... its a pain, but well worth it
