With that being said, I picked this up for 10 gold on AH. (dalaran). The schematic is useless without the smelting skill, but, the smelting skill is useless without the schematic. A good goal for hunter-engineers, I'd say. And so it goes.

The expensive mats required to make this rifle simply aren't worth it. This is another example of a crafted item that's more expensive than its worth.

8 dark iron bars is equal to 6(bars) * 8ores = 48 dark iron ores needed for 1 rifle. You could probably get more in the auction house for your ores, or you're guild to make better use of the ores in making dark iron gear for your tanks.

2 sapphires & 2 opals, again, not worth using. save them for something worthy.

now to support my arguement, consider that there are several other bows & guns that you can find in other easy instances that will provide you greater dps(stats) and less cost(time).

the gun that tinkerer gizlock drops in maraudon is 1 such example. its dps is 27.5 (2 dps less), but at the same time it provides for 5arcane resist and 22ranged attack power.

It can be a good Rifle ONLY x hunters.
Cause it has got no stats.

The problem is that there's 1 ranged weapon little better than this (Satyr's bow) really easy to get at 0 gold.

And a Really great Xbow (heartseek) to buy at the same cost someone can sell the D.I rifle.

The Raw material cost at ah (Crushridge EU) is around 120 G.

Got this one my first real BRD run. I'm engineer and I learned it right away. Now when I see the droprate I realise how lucky I was =)

From what I can tell they must have raised the drop rates on this plan.
Last night we had 4 - Yes 4 drop, I learned one and the other three are going to be sold. We also had 11 black diamonds drop. Its insane how they raised the amounts of these things in this instance.

Im at 213 kills. No Schematic yet. But i found one on auction house for 25g hoping to flip it.
I did get a Shell Launcher Shotgun after about 100 kills.

GOT IT on 245 kills
