I love these kind of items.

You have to farm them, so few people have them.

for BWL i imagine its good, but if u are there ur shadow resistance is already plenty and a lvl 30ish drop isnt going to mean the difference between bringing down nef, and having him WTF pwning j00 in teh fayc3z0rZz... to put it frankly.

it might be useful
I just don't know how many fights are gonna be pure resists, or resist enoguh that +10 will rule, also would this be over ruled by any sort of other buff like Priests Shadow buff or a Shaman's Frost totem?

nope not for potions, but it shares a cooldown with my mana agate as mage.
