Does this require the first book or do you jump right to rank 2?

If so this whole idea blows...50-75 gold for the first book is what every evil non-druid greedy bastage wants for this... Ya... sell me a book so I can buff you.

Gift of the Wild rank 2 has the same power as a lvl 60 MotW.

Rank 1 only had the effectiveness of lvl 50 MotW.

You don't need to get Rank 1 before being abble to train rank 2.

Tranquility Shot, for Hunters, is learned from a book, as well. Only it drops only off a boss in MC.

Would be very unlogical...

The only thing this does is lenghten the duration of the Mark of the Wild to 1H, and it buffs the entire party with just 1 cast.

It dropped today for me on Shattered Hand EU server in Stratholme off a Ghoul :D

The other druid was kind of pissed ;D

Book II dropped for me on Dire Maul off of one of the warpwood crushers (big trees). I know book I drops in Sunken Temple.

heh, if you look at the posts for rank 1, and saw people selling it for 63g, I can only imagine that people would be selling this one for at least 100g.

Although I understand the laws of economics, I fail to see why anyone should want to charge that much for this, or even more, why any druid would pay that much for it. Don't they see that when a Druid has GOTW, EVERYONE wins? Why would a druid want to spend 250g just to make someone else's buffs better? I mean, I ALWAYS have my MOTW, and I never have to keep reminding myself to rebuff. I cannot say the same for my parties, when invariably buffs run out and people don't always notice and therefore don't get rebuffed right away. Yes, there is the convience factor, but not enough to be worth 250g. I fail to believe that these people don't know any drus, or have any in their guild that need this. It's not like they won't make ANY money on it, but they should keep it realistic. Anyway, it just makes me angry that people are so greedy and selfish.

I got GoTW2 as a drop (I'm a lvl 60 Druid). With these insane prices, i was thinking about selling it...lol. If i hadn't just sold an Orb of Deception for 650G I definitely would have. Any druid who pays more than 10-20G for this thing (the convenience is nice, though it requires a reagent) needs a got smacking around.

A seasoned lvl 60 non-druid handed me one of these on my first ever Raid into UBRS. I was lvl 57 and couldn't use it, but was blown away by his generosity. He just said he had been looking for a druid to give it to.

So not all is lost, there are those not looking to rape you for this book.

i think youre the idiot. i sold 2 of them to vendors since no one buys that crap anymore. they are dropping all over the place so why even bother spending 3g for them.

FYI you can buff entire raids with this but only one group at a time. Simply select a member from your group and buff, then a member from the next group and buff etc.

I was given both books by friends but I've never seen prices as outrageous as have been mentioned, I agree though that the first is more sellable than the second and therefore will sell for more.

I'm a lvl 57 druid and got both books now, obvious can't use book II yet, but i see no reason why i should pay <3g so just i can buff you, doesn't make sence.

i got mine for less than a gold on Azgalor... i have only seen it go up in the auction house for more than 10 gold twice, and i'm sure no one bought it....

got this from strat, a abomination dude. the last one before the named. so yeah. gonna sell in the AH. our druid didn't want it. and i had a really really nice group. they let me get al lthe stuff they didin't want. i got like 5 corrupters stones. key to the city, crimson hat, this book, i woulda got more but like, we got to baron and wiped twice. 5 man group it was. a warrior, mage, shamman, me a rogue, and a priest who bailed 50% through, and then our added druid. yeap. enjoi.

But I did not get it until some dude handed it to me. Not worth any expense off mine.
I can cast the spell to everyone and then sit down and drink the water the mage usually makes for every caster and be done with it.

People will die anyway and so I'll have to refresh it manually on them.

Hope you are kidding, 250g on Ravencrest?
I bought both 1 & 2 at AH on Ravencrest couse they where so cheap. 5g for Rank 1 and 4g for Rank 2 i think. And guild mates (All druids) Said it was pretty ok prices, not omgwtf cheap.

I bought both book 1 and 2 for about 3,5 gold in total in AH.
It should be cheap, because only druids benefit from it and most druids get them from guildmates (because they like good druids in groups and instances very well).
So only a few guildless druids would be interested. And once they have it, nobody wants it anymore. So low need for the book, low prices in AH.

Selling 1.5-2G at Icecrown.
Plse don't buy if its too expensive.. this only to buff yr party member for additional 30min. so u hav 1hr buff. Whats the point buying too expensive when it only benefit others? Unless u dunno what to do with yr gold.. :)

Just got this book free from a fellow guildy. Although I'm only a lvl 51 druid there wasn't another druid in out guild that needed it (and he was just feeling generous that day).

Hopefully they'll up the drop rates for this soon - in 2 months of hitting Strath, Scholo, BRD, and U/LBRS daily (in some combination of 2), I have NEVER seen this book drop.

I got the book II in the first instance of Dire Maul. The first Warpedwoods Crusher dropped it (big tree). Also I don't think you need rank 1, just need to be lvl 60 of course. :)
