just finished run the outer side for the leather helm drop from celebras. now i need to do inner for this? aahhhh (gonna get this!)

This is the best necklace for casters in general. There may be better epics out there but this is easy to get and gives u the biggest sta/int/spirit boost of any necklace out there.
I have been to murradon about 9-10 times and it has dropped 3 of those.

I have run Maraudon 13 times to get this stupid neck, but didnt see it drop even once in all those runs. :-(
Seems a bit strange to me when i see them on so many ppl. Dunno wether im just so unlucky or they were very lucky to get them. And one thing that really angers me, when those ppl. tell me they got it on they first or second run :-P
Guess I will have to give up on this neck.

I see that drop rate is only 2%, maybe i am very very lucky but i run this inst. 3 times and this dropped on second run. Noone else need it . and i won.

thought i would post this. went to mara yesterday. good pt. 60 rogue, 54 warrior, 50 warrior, 50 mage, and 52 druid (me). we tore through the later half of the instance and took down landslide, rotgrip, and princess. cloud stone droped off landslide and i won the roll on that. then gemshard heart dropped off princess. only second time i have seen it in like 15 runs, but since i got the stone i pass the necklace for the mage.

THIS IS HOW RUNS ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK. so that one person doesnt end up getting everything in an instance. like my last run when the paladin got every friggin blue that dropped (including the necklace)

just another example of why i dont like paladins...

So no joke there I was looking at a dead Princess and BAM loot pops up and there it is this sexay necklace...
Group comp you ask? Well 2 war 1 hunter 2 priests...
2 priests roll then... so does the hunter >.< says it is good for everyone that uses mana... While this is true, THE ONLY STATS THAT CASTERS USE ARE INT, SPI, AND STAM! I have a level 60 and 52 in WoW and this is the only time I have ever experienced the "Hunter loot" mentality but OMFG I had to vent. I don't know if you get by the tone of this but the hunter won and took it.

i have done Mara 2 times, both times she dropped this. i got it and it's VERY VERY NICE. i am a priest on Gorefiend Server (alliance). this is better than what i was using,, anyways.. this ISN'T A HUNTER ITEM. it's a caster item for priests, mages,locks and druids...

This dropped last night. As usual, everyone passed, and we /roll for it. I've got nothing this whole dungeon. Lock rolls 41, Mage rolls 95, I roll...97! Then the lock says he ahs to leave and quites the party. He then loots the corpse (we cant see a loot message) so when I go to loot, its gone. :*(

ok first of all, hunters who roll on this are total dumbasses/ninjas, this is obviously a caster item and hunters while they do indeed use mana, they dont rely on it like mages, locks, and priests.

Be the leader of a group when ur farming for it, when it drops change loot to master looter, casters roll for it, u assign it to winner. Hunters or shamans or rogue's w/e can !@#$% all they want, casters need it more. Simple way to prevent greedy ^&*!@es from stealing things u need.

Hell, we had to boot a rogue from RFD once cuz he was going to actually roll NEED for the Robes of the Lich.....some ppl are just greedy !@#$%s, gotta take command.

i just got this tonight, i was just gonna greed it because i was tired, but as a pally, you kind of need those stats (and yes, i asked before i needed it, like i always do for rare drops, so dont yell at me because im a pally), basically its just an upgraded version of the triune amulet from scarlet monastery, but its still a great necklace, great for casters or hybrids

I agree with the above statement. Pally's (esp. holy pally's like me) use tons of mana and this necklace is a definite upgrade. I would not hesistate to need roll it against any caster. I've seen a lot of !@#$%ing in instances over situations like this, and the bottom line to me is: If you use it and it is an upgrade, then by all means do a need roll.

It's perfectly fair for a pally to roll Need on this. Paladins are also a healer class, and if your healer runs out of mana, you're dead. I'm not a paladin (I'm a lock), but it's a good thing to ensure your healer always has mana and doesn't die, or instancing is going to get far harder. Paladins shouldn't get this over pure caster classes like mages and locks, but if they don't want it, the paladin can take it.

Not sure at the 5% drop ratd but i did mara 5 times and it dropped on all 5 of them with another blue. Since we went on a guild run all of the 5 times, I got one (pally) , mage,lock,hunter,and priest.

im a 60 pally, plate wearing preist just wondering if i should get this, it seems much easier to farm for than some of the higher lvl necklaces and its almost as good, any thoughts?

this is a valid necklace for any caster, can only be rolled on by a non-caster when all casters have it already, or should be :P

1st princess run, sadly a warlock died in the battle and couldn't complete his quest nor getting this necklace :-/ Owell, at least I got it

Dropped for me the first run.. im a 46 priest. got this along with 2 maces... rolled 100 two times on the mace and 99 on this necklace :D
also won all the green items :D lucky run

You can use this straight up to 60 it dropped for me on my 5th princess run. I'm now a 56 druid and will prob use it for a long time.

It dropped of the princess last night and i need rolled it, i beat the mage and the priest the mage was mad at me for the rest of the instance saying "shut up $%^&* you took my heart!" Pally Rolls FTW!

Dropped the first ever run I did and got outrolled, ran it again a second time and dropped and looted. I just got lucky it dropped twice in a row.
