Go to your main city and these are achievable by turning in thorium shells. These are the equivelent to thorium shells. Very nice for high end boss fight to push out as much dps as possible

Agreed, these are the primary reason I took up Engineering. DPS is key in the endgame, and you can get 10 stacks of these for about 5g worth of mats. (20 Thorium Bars, 20 Dense Stone).

When playing normally, I'll use Jagged Arrows to save money, but in the high end instances and sometimes battlegrounds, I'll always switch to these.

Come with BC, you can repair these, making less use of acquiring the materials, be kinda handy.

Yes, Jagged arrows are next after razor arrows.

IMO: i think these are better than those AV arrows, with the AV arrows, i was only hitting like 200-300 with Bloodseeker, that Xbow from AV, and when i used these, i easily hit more than that if i recalll. and i only crit 400. i crit 562 once with these arrows. so to conclude, ithink these are better than ice threaded arrow.

Here are the list of High levle arrows.

Precision Arrow -level 35 11.5 dps

Jagged Arrow -level 40 13.0 dps

Ice Threaded Arrow -level 51 16.5 dps

Thorium Headed Arrow -level 52 17.5 dps

So your best choice is to get Honored Rep from AV so you can get Ice Threaded Arrow

You have no idea what you're talking about. The best bullets in the game add 6.8 DPS. If a bullet actually added 17.5 damage, it would essentially give a hunter 33% more damage if they had some of the best gear in the game.

Again, you have no idea what you're talking about. They do, however, add 17-18 damage..

don't forget that hunters also have quivers that helps to increase the dps.

The DPS listed is wrong. These actually add 17.5 DPS.

There is no way in hell that a shell will add 17-18 dps. The mechanics for this have changed in WoW recently and the tool tips are not displaying accurate information - or at least not accurate terminology. 5.8dps is correct. If it were not every single person would be a hunter, no arguments.

You may think its 18dps but perhaps test it out with a damage meter over 2000 rounds worth of regular shells and then compare it to thorium shells... youll find it isnt that big of a difference.

You dont think that if there was an enchant for +18 DPS that every warrior and rogue in the game would suddenly become the most powerful characters? Well they would. Fast consistent hits + no mana cost or penelty = overpowered.

+17.5 dps is hardly over-powered when comparing ranged weapons to melee weapons... Ranged weapons actually have a much lower dps then their melee counterparts, it's the choice of ammo that puts ranged weapons on par with melee weapons of the same level...

Rhok'delar, the hunter epic quest bow has only 44 dps, epic one handers can go above 60 dps and epic 2 handers of the same level can hit above the 75 dps mark... With this kind of ammo, Rhok'delar barly beats out comparable one handed weapons for base dps but still lags behind 2-handed weapons and duel weilded one handers...

Only with ammo dps bonuses can ranged weapons compete with melee for base dps... Saying that it's over-powered to get +17.5 dps based on ammo clearly shows the persons ignorance of ranged weapon dps mechanics~

As a heads up for my Classic bow users, it seems (not high enough to confirm yet) that these will be the hardest hitting arrows for Classic. To get them, you'll need to trade in Thorium Shells via A Fair Trade. Thorium Shells can be created via Engineering.
