well, it�s a quest reward so if you hunters want it just choose it instead of the one with agility you can also get :P

and btw, really really nice ring for the fire resistance IMO ;)

I made a quick guide on how to get this, here it is:

Here is the quests that you need to do. We need more people with the water so we don't have to spend 30 minutes a raid wondering what to douse..

It's a chain, do the first 2 on your own, you can get em at the same time.

Then turn them in, you then need to do:

which you need to kill the following bosses:
Hand of Shazzrah: 0/1
Hand of Lucifron: 0/1
Hand of Gehennas: 0/1
Hand of Sulfuron: 0/1

Then turn that in.

Basically, just kill the fire guy in the begining of UBRS and get the item, return to Duke Hydraxis, you will need to be honored with Hydraxian Waterlords:

Kill the following:
Molten Giant: 0/1
Firelord: 0/1
Ancient Core Hound: 0/1
Lava Surger: 0/1

Talk to him again: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=7486/a-heros-reward

Choose your reward:

https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=35685

Talk to him again to get the Aqual Quintessence to extinguish a rune of the firelords.

The above post isnt quite correct.

1)
Stormers and Rumblers
Poisoned Waters.

2)
Eye of the Emberseer
(You simply need to kill the fire boss in UBRS)

3)
Get honoured with the Hydraxian Waterlords.
This is easiliest obtained by being and killing in the Molten Core.

4)
The Molten Core

5)
Hands of the Enemy

End of story, cash in and get your sweet FR ring ^^

It's been a long time, so I could be wrong, but my recollection is that you don't need to be honored to get "The Molten Core", but you do need to be honored to get "The Hands of the Enemy".

I turned in the Hand of the Enemy quest but didn't get a reward? The chest in the water can't be opened. What can i do? Really want the fire res. Only thing i got was water, do i have to use this first to get the reward?

This is apparently a "known" issue. If you are a night elf priest, you will not get the quest "A Hero's Reward" upon completion of the Hydraxian quest chain and therefore will be unable to obtain this item. If you have completed the chain, you should file a GM ticket and ask to be sent this item.

I put "known" in quotes because despite what must be many reports of this issue, it currently remains unfixed.

For healers, is it worth this ring replacing rings that give you passives like Rosewine Circle and Fordring's Seal, just for the fire resistance in MC?
