Does this inc in healing effects increases healing done by warlock life steal efects (drain life, death coil etc...)?
I was wondering if that is why warlock set items have the "inc damage AND healing by magical EFFECTS and spells" stuff ont them.

since warlocks got both fire and shadow that wouldn't be too good with just +shadow

since i'm purely a pve build warlock with the SM/Ruin build i can safely say that plus shadow dmg items are very useful as they often come with higher plus dmg values than +dmg/heal items and in MC our fire spells are virtually useless (too much aggro, too much resistance, a lot of mobs are immune)

I'm thinking about using this with https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=4931/hickory-shortbow (Hammer of Grace), of course the +healing is nice, but no intellect at all on the weapon makes for a pretty low mana pool.

My other choice is this (Hammer of the Grand Crusader).

This gives an extra 400mana, but these two together give +68 to healing which is pretty amazing.

So -
Grand Crusader: +390mana, +3stam, +9spi
Grace/Glowing Stone: +46 to healing.

I'm not worried about DPS.

Does this include healing done to other players by you or is this just healing being done to you.

I've never got that straight, because of the wording.

+Healing bonus is primarily based on the cast time of the spell (other factors include the number of ticks that take place if it is an HoT and whether or not it is an AoE). For a spell to receieve 100% of the bonus from +Healing gear, it needs to have at least a 3.5 second base cast time. Healing Touch ranks 5-10 get the full +Healing bonus because of that (even if you have the talent to reduce the cast time, since the base cast time remains at 3.5 seconds).

Healing Touch Rank 4 is a preferred choice for healers in the end game because it receives around 86% of the +Healing bonus (3.0 second base cast time, so it receives 3.0/3.5 percent of the +Healing bonus), while also being cast .5 seconds faster than the next highest rank of Healing Touch. When you get around 400 +Healing, Healing Touch Rank 4 becomes a bit of a "sweet spot" between mana efficiency, cast time, and overall healing. You can spam it like no tomorrow because it costs so little, the fast cast time means that spamming is really easy, and the fact that you have so much +Healing means that it actually heals for a decent amount.

As far as +Healing with HoT, I can't remember the specifics, but I believe that the math indicates that a HoT needs at least 5 ticks and must last for a certain length of time to get the full effect of +Healing.

It says "Held in Hand," as opposed to "Held in Offhand." Plus, it isn't unique. Does that mean that a class with two of these could dual-weild? Even if it's not the best weapon-combo, I'm still curious. =)

Pretty much replaces the Drakestone of Healing. Added 70 health in place of the straight healing bonus. Not too shabby...
