Got em in a raid of 20. It works out well with the Energized Chestplate, reg of +10 mana every 5 secs.

Ok. More int more sta and more mana regen then the LF pants = better healadin pants for any paladin that can realize he is not a warrior and reckognize his roll as side healer.

Been in Strath far too many times now. These are the main reason I make the Baron run. They have dropped twice, both times I am the only pally in the group that wants ( or I have agreed before hand that the other can have LF if Baron drops ).
Both times now the Leader has attempted to pass them to me via Master Loot, theres now a Warlock and a Priest that have my Leggings. Gonna keep trying, and begging not to turn on ML at Nerub, and hopefully one day I will own these :) Until then I'm gonna go rant about this on the Blizz forums during down time.

I had NO idea the drop rate was only 2% on these awesome leggings. I was making my 14th trip to Baron for LF legs, and these dropped along the way. They really are SWEET Paladin pants to keep around, even if Baron eventually drops Lightforge legplates for me, which has yet to occur. Anyway, I'm thrilled with these, they're a nice gray matte color, very professional looking and they really should be "Class: Paladin" LOL.

Drop rate is low because the pants are new, and weren't part of the loot table for the first 1000 recorded kills or so.

These dropped for me today, i immediately said "I NEED I THE PANTS I WILL USE THEM" people rolled on the scourge stone and i rolled for the pants 77. Then this idiot warrior says "can i roll on the plate plz?" without even waiting for my response he just rollz and beats me with 84. I guess he didnt see me say i need but omg wtf would a warrior want 20 INT +5mana per second for anyways. I WAS SO PISSED. The leader of the raid group booted the warrior out immediately... at least that was good. He said "im booting this moron b4 he rolls on my cloth set" haha soooo annoying though now i have to keep doing udstrat runs to get em to drop again :\

If there were no palis in the group, no problem with a warrior rolling on this. But if there is even one pali who needs it rolling on this as a warrior is worthy of death!

A warrior took these off me Pally the other day and I was soooo pi$$ed... no idea why he would want them but apparently he thought he was justified! A quick word to raid leader turned on master loot but alas too late for me.... I only wished some valor had dropped so I could have rolled on that... grrr... I don't normally get involved in the "this is xxx class's item" discussions but the Int and +mana really are hard to argue against, of course if the +int worked on the human PLAYER instead of the char then perhapds it would be worth it to see some "thinking" warriors out there!

Lightforge is for those idiotic paladins that want to deal a lot of damage. This is for the paladins that people actually want in a capture the flag game.

I'll take these over lightforge any day. For one, the +5 mana/five seconds is amazing. Coupled with my mindtap talismans, double rings of demonic guile, and energized chestplate, I almost never run out of mana.

ok, this is kinda random, but anyone tell me what lvl u should be to do SCHOLO?.....im 54 pally right now and wondering if i should start looking for group for this...also, second part, where do i get quests for this place, lol? thx for any help! =D

This was my first time in Strat, being lvl 56. I just went to kind of scope out the place for quests later on. When these dropped I was so happy. These are amazing leggings. I am now especially surprised that they have a low drop rate. This just makes me happier. :)

Ok question, if your a holy specced pally these are your legs until lawbringer but as far as searching for the 'best set' I havn't figured out how low I'll stoop for +mana regen- I have Jeklik's Opaline Talisman, peacekeeper boots, this, am searching for Energized chestplate, my dilemma is w/ shield- should I use Gizlock's Hypertech Buckler, because it is -300 armor compared to sacred protector and rattlecage protector. For +4 mana/5 seconds? but then I just can't help thinking how that stacks with my other equiptment. In endgame instances the only damange which occurs is from AOE attacks anyway since staying back and healing/decurse/judging so... what is best?

I ran UD Strat yesterday in a 5 man...was only paladin in the group...got these and the LF pants on the same run.....the group let me have both as I was only one who could get use out of them.....my lucky day for drops and to be in a great group....will group with those guys any time.

Got these last night during a guild run. I originally used Abyssal Plate Leggings of Restoration but the huge int boost on this one makes it better than the 1% crit and +33 healing.

However, its so ugly when combined with my gold/red set that I get from LF/whitesoul helm/lawbringer mix. Oh well, will have to start hunting those lawbringer pants to replace these. :-)

I have these but preffer lightforge ...eventhough baron is the meanest, most evil mob in the entire game and either won't die or won't let LF out of his clutches.

LF is for pvp pallys or pallys who think they can tank ><.. it has only 12 int, not mana regen, no +dmg/healing done, only plus on LF is when you have the set it SOMETIMES gives you +95 dmg and healing done.. but on the otherhand SF legs are way better then Chitinous Plate Legguards.
So, get the LF pants, but them in bank, go for the chitinous plates, go do the tier0.5 quest, and get the freaking SF pants!:)

Got these yesterday, as a pally who CAN tank.. (of cause patch 2.0.1 helps) mostly use deathbone gear but also have a healing set, which these have replaced the LF legs I had before.

Not sure what the point of LF is, seems a jack of all trades master of none set.
