spawn timer for node is 120+ minutes.. (~15 minutes on the mob spawn, seemed to be ~12 mins on second time). Bottom line, probably not an efficient way to complete this quest :) maybe if you're farming purple lotus at the same time, however, herb node is in same spot (~12 min)

There's a node just to the north , but tons of mobs and constrained route/terrain you'd have to fight your way back up stairs each time. Maybe if you're a rouge or druid.

One more node just to the west

Perhaps as volume of players in zone picks up the spawn rate could improve as other nodes are swiped. This was ~9am server time.

Towards the end I did get a bit more aggressive on clearing mobs and getting clicky nodes, but didn't seem to impact much within this 4 node area

The reason for staying here was due to some of the lower level elites and non-elites vs. the upper tiers of the zone.

Aside from time to respawn, there must be a triggering event in the zone that helps speed this up. I can't imagine 120+ minutes on one node makes sense if 3-4 groups are moving through. Perhaps killing the main boss(es) helps to reset the zone spawns. One further node to the south (up another level) may be part of this spawn / rotation...

This quest sucks.

Try and seek these out before doing the other elite quests.
