The full set of these cards gives the following:

Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether
Binds when picked up
Unique
Trinket
Requires Level 60
Equip: Gives the wearer a 10% chance of being able to resurrect with 20 health and mana.
Sells for 10 Gold to vendors
Item Level 66

Does the trinket you get have a cool down? or can it proc 5 times in a row in av?

To the guys asking about the cooldown...

THere's a shaman on my server who has this...He died in a BG, res'd with his self-res spell...died again right after, res'd on the trinket proc, died...res'd AGAIN on the trinket proc. These were back-to-back incidents...and the same guy killed him 3x in a row. That's a big rofflecopter in my book.

Gandling dropped Ace of Portals, Lightforge Helm & Headmaster's Charge on my last run. I wanted the Charge sooo bad (60 lock), but I lost it with a 98 to my friend (priest) who got a 100, & won the Ace. It's okay, I <3 her & all. lol Steamwheedle Cartel, Alliance side. Char's name is Faerlina... debating on whether to sell it alone or make the deck & sell that.

the ace of portals is more expensive than the entire deck on the AH. just buy the deck.

Comments are supposed to deal with completing quests attaining items and defeating mobs. Not Which Card Your Character NEEDS! If you need a card watch the AH or get yourself a group and GET IT! Please don't waste everyones time posting what you've got or need!

Only need this one for Portals, and only need the Ace for Beasts too. Ppl onmy server try to charge like 700 gold for this baby, but it never sells until they bring it down.

The droprate isn't as low as it says here on allakhazam. It's just that the darkmoon cards were introduced in a much more recent patch than the other items in his loot table, and that is why it appears to have such a low drop rate. I estimate it to drop about one in ten times, if not more.

I've ran Scholo probably about 5-6 times total, of those times the ace dropped twice, and both times I won with a roll of 98. The rest of the deck cost me 45g the first time and 55g the second time. Got 2 Portals Decks sitting in my bank right now :)

I hate to be the one to break the news, but in the last month, I've been running guild runs in UBRS, and I have seen both the Ace of Beasts,AND the Ace of Portals drop from The Beast in Upper Blackrock Spire.

Wonder how that affects the price on my server? they go for around 200 or less gold now.....

I play on Thunderlord as this same name, level 60 human lock

In about the five-seven times I've ran Scholo, it's dropped three times, and the third time I won it. Sold it for 300g.

I guess three is really my lucky number, eh?

I got it today in a 10 man raid in Scholo. How lucky am I.

I put it in Ah for 299G / 350G buyout.

I play a 60 hunter on Thunderhorn-EU.

Just won this card in a Scholo PUG a few days ago. My jaw hit the floor when I saw it pop up on the loot table. Despite the Twisting Nether Card being applicable to any class, all the rest passed just because I only said "I need portals deck for the darkmoon card". Hard to believe they believed I wasnt going to sell it for 300g at the AH.

Bought out all the cards at the IF AH within 10mins of hearthing and finished the set. Cost me less than 75g to get 2-8 of portals. Now all I got to do is wait for it to come to elwynn
